On a more positive note. Today in Estonia is independence day. We went to the parade this morning. Here are a couple of photos of the British forces

I'm starting to come round to the idea that what we are dealing with is basically an even more greedy, narcissistic 'Trolly' Johnson, bouncing from one thing to another, on huge amounts of speed with a particularly vicious streak. He seems to have no capacity for concepts or detail, hence the weirdly meandering speeches and policies. He doesn't understand the differences between Gaza and Disneyland, he confuses Asylum seekers with Lunatic Asylums and his latest diatribes against Ukraine shows he has no understanding of any aspect of that situation either.

It's almost as if nobody can tell him that he isn't the most brilliant business/political/strategic mind on the planet and he is careering onwards like a some broken clockwork toy, lurching from one thing to another, whilst loads of people attempt to try and follow him.

Whenever I have come across this sort of weirdness in the past, the conspiracy has always been so complex, that it turned out to be cock up all along.

No less dangerous, but a little more logical
I think with Trump you have an unfortunate confluence of factors that have created his disgusting personality:

1) Born into immense wealth and privilege.
2) Average (at best) intelligence.
3) Arrogance off the scale bacause his wealth has protected him from his (many) failures.
4) Personality disorders - narcissism, psychopathy etc
5) A cruel, nasty and vindictive streak.

Supporting him is unforgivable.

Looks like NATO based USAF are a bit off the new narrative. Two fingers to Trump?
or the narrative of abandoning Nato, aligning with Russia, has been largely made up?

I'm guessing that this is one of the B-52s (good band that) that landed at Fairford, Glos between Feb 9-13.

To recap, there were 3 B-52s, a U2 High altitude reconnaissance plane, 2 747s and a 767 with cargo and personnel.

That's quite a lot of kit if the rumours are true, and Trump is attending the May 9 Victory parade in Moscow.

(The last sentence is not a joke, but it is just a rumour).

If this happens it will signal to the world that free democracy is dead.

Possibly. But a lot of things can happen until we will know.

A possible scenario. If Russia plays ball, Trump will consider a visit. If Russia plays hardball, Trump does not visit, (or to be really clever, he agrees to visit, and then pulls out at the last minute).

All the above is guesswork. I may be hopelessly wrong.

But I said at the time of their arrival that I was troubled by the B-52s etc. Why are they here in Europe?
Why does Trump feel he needs to make such a statement of power?

If he goes perhaps they'll keep him.
