Why is he, in your opinion, a hypocrite then?

For Gods sake man, don't you know anything. He has earnt good money in his life and not given it all away to the poor. That is what you should do if you don't want to be labelled a hypocrite. Like all socialists.... Which is what he has always been, albeit a somewhat dissallusioned one as Labour moved to the right.

Im not whinging. Ive nothing really to whinge about. As for Brand, im pretty indifferent regarding him. I just enjoy the crackpot reactions to him from our rightish friends.

You make politics sound like a matter of loyalty, support and rivalry.

You should get into Celtic and Rangers, you'd love it.

Brand is a ****, but Alan partridge is a comedy genius, after just seeing his unbelievable comments on the Tories ( in the party politcal broadcast) are going to dismantle the NHS I have realised he is actually unhinged.

as one of NSC's resident right-wing nut jobs

Come now Mustafa, that is not very politically correct of you, 'nut job' , how very offensive to bed wetting liberal socialists everywhere, hang your head in shame you nasty man.

Right of centre I may be, right wing? Only to people who do not like responsibility, be it financial, social or otherwise.

Oh, and Audi A8, at about £80k most people would call it a limo. But maybe you liberal, champagne socialists have more expensive tastes, but would leave it for somebody else to pick up the bill as per usual?

Why? Because I find the rightwingers reactions to this comedian, everytime there is a thread concerning him funny? ok mate...plus we are aiming for 10 pages, and you have described politics pretty well.

Do you not think it's just as funny that the 'lefties' are so defensive of Russell Brand?

It's all very predictable on both sides to be fair. Both Left and right look like mugs with this Brand fascination going on right now.

Who's next, Noel Gallagher?

I don't know why Russell Brand's opinions warrant so much column space.

Actually, I'm not helping here...

10 pages? Typical leftie thinking always thinking low
I have much more faith in NSC to get the best out of each other and smash this rather uninspiring target.

anyone mentioned yet Brand looks like your typical swivel eyed socialist sex case

I fully expect the impressionable Brand to bump into Nigel in a boozer, share a lager, a bag of pork scratchings and a packet of Rothmans and be fully signed up to UKIP by Thursday morning.

This isnt the first Russel Brand thread, and to see the same reactions is just funny to me. Sorry.

i actually mentioned 30 in an earlier post. The current target is 10

...and no. I dont think about sex cases of any political persuasion, or imagine what they look like particularly.

As a Labour voter, I had been thinking that the one thing that might make me decide not to vote Labour would be an endorsement for Labour from Russell Brand. Luckily, however, there was an extract from his statement (if you can describe his mockney drivel as such...) on the radio and he said that the one exception to his endorsement (apart from Scotland) was Brighton where he would urge people to vote for Lucas. So I can happily vote for Labour in Pavilion in the safe knowledge that I'm not doing so with RB's support.
