he put Tony Blair in power and fanned the flames in the Middle East , he has blood on his hands.....then when Gordon Brown was reluctant send British troops to Afghanistan he shafted him and put Cameron in , facilitating and promoting Brexit....he's not a nice man.
I think you giving him credit for being a lot more powerful than he actually is .

What hideous acts ?
One long hideous act. As in running a media empire which has profited through intrusion, lies, manipulation and has done untold damage to folks lives.

Quote from former Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull

Murdoch’s News Corp of eroding democracy in the US and Australia by dividing people and undermining institutions with lies and populist rightwing ideology.

I disagree, he has been doing it in the UK as well.

Time for a UK government to end cross media ownership in these isles, also those owners that don't live here or pay taxes here
I seem to remember that he traded his political support for a larger slice of the media pie at various points in his reign of populist divisive nonsense

Another vote for utter scum here.

watch a show called "great dynasties" the murdoch one obviously , his media company has dictated changes of governments and conflated war situations.
Good show that, very informative. The bloke has way more power than a media owner should have.

The Times is a pretty well balanced newspaper, centre right , but not afraid of having a pop at the Conservative or Labour Party if they see fit. They also have a go at dodgy and unethical business practice.
The Guardian is surely not yet compulsory reading for everybody on NSC is it?😁😉

The Times at least for now is probably the most balanced national in the UK, its business and Murdoch sees an opportunity, you can't gaslight everyone. There was a time when the Telegraph inhabited that space, but its lost its way.

Owning the Times though doesn't excuse his practices of lies, manipulation, intrusion and propaganda. Just what Fox News has done in light regulation America. It hideous and should be warning to us all...

I gave up on the Telegraph several years ago and moved over to the Times.
