I get that gut feel too. The videos are actually quite insightful. My 2 cents is that I don't think the players like FH. This is based on nothing other than what I've seen at games and in the new behind the scenes content we now get. I don't see a bond there at all.
Remember when players would absolutely GUSH over RDZ and Potter in the media? Not much of that now either.
I'm not 100% FAB out, but I think the players are, I think we'll have a stinking end to the season and I think he'll be gone.
I hope he makes this post look idiotic. But I don't think he will.
The one that made me cringe the most was the dressing room one after the Old Trafford win.
‘Guys, what I want now is consistency, guys and togetherness’. What does this actually mean to a footballer. You can’t force togetherness, you create it. You don’t throw players under the bus like FH has done. RDZ used to say repeatedly that he loved his players. FH has the emotional intelligence of a robot.
We’d just won at O/T. Where’s the celebration, where’s the love and appreciation. I know players are paid a lot of money but they are just young blokes who need to be led, by a leader that has tactical nous, organisational ability and the emotional intelligence to know when to give them a bit of love when it’s required, and a closed door bollocking when needed ( eg RDZ after the Everton 1/5 game)
Maybe I’ve got this all wrong. We’ll see in the next few games. I expect a response on Saturday whatever as the players pride will have been severely dented.
