Well this is quite it, there’s been a lot of accusations of “bedwetting”. If there has been anytime to bed wet it’s when we’ve lost 7-0. A lot of very level headed Brighton fans, who know their stuff have decided it’s time to go, who previously backed the manager have turned, it’s not going anywhere. I’m more inclined to say it’s time to go now personally, but it’s not quite a crazy outlier opinion.
If a lot of serious supporters, many that I know, plus Paul Samrah, thinks the manager should go then, perhaps the manager should go.

As someone who deals at work with evidence . . . in the face of hype, confirmation bias and general narrative-gaming, I will reserve my judgement.

Only if the owner fires the gun will the smoke represent fire.

And I'm not concerned with being right.
I simply dislike being fed a load of old bollocks.
Which is why I have Dwayne and other notorious "look at me!" needy after-timing arse-hats on ignore.

Bit disappointed that people I respect have been signaling a narrative they have not backed up.
Or even said they can back it up but won't for good reasons.
It corrodes our trust in the club to have to swim through innuendo.

But if Samrah thinks the manager should go.....
I suspect his days (hours?) are numbered.
Unless Paul has lost his massive mind, which is surely unlikely...

Tbh it absolutely is. What’s the point in saying anything if you aren’t sharing it? It’s got strong 10 year old vibes of “I know something you don’t know na na na na naaa” that you get at school.

He also shouldn’t be telling others what they can and can’t post, people can post what they like and it’s not up to him to decide what’s helpful or appropriate. I was interested in what @Munchkin has to say.
I disagree.

I have noticed that there is a particular poster who often seems to 'hear about something ' then posts it on NSC. In old times we called it gossiping.
Of course, only they know what they actually heard, or maybe it was 'gossiped' to them.
Of course as stories get passed along the chain little things get added or embellished.
Because while we all want it, people aren’t going to reveal their source. You can take it at face value or not and move on.

although a certain poster, who is currently taking a sabbatical, doesn’t believe you can randomly bump into an Albion employee or player in town, you can! The trouble is everyone has their own view and slant on things and as I mentioned before, I was categorically told a player was unfit for a match on a Wednesday, only for him to be in the starting line up on the Saturday!

I understand Paul Samrah is a decent Accountant and an emotional Albion fan

Yes, once you know a few people information appears quite a lot. I know enough people involved with the club at fan this stuff seeps through on word of mouth.

I think another thing indicating why I think FH is probably done for me is that he is not getting more out of the players, whether that’s motivationally or discipline. A lot of our model relies on the coach getting an extra 10% out of our players to push us up. An example for our last few successful managers Hughton got an extra 10% out of Stephens in the Premier League to keep us up, Potter got about an extra 10% out of Burn, RDZ for an extra 10% out of Solly. I can’t see FH getting anything out of anyone here, in fact I can’t see a lot of players regressing.

We were starting to see improvements in Igor, Ayari and even JPVH. Not sustained long enough for a proper judgement. Sadly some have gone backwards of late.

Concur as often HWT, however, trying to piece together bits of observational info to form narratives/or backwards engineer team disharmony circumstances from disparate bits of info....... even talking a right load of old bollocks is all part of the NSC analysis!

The last few seasons we have seen a core group of players playing at say 6 or 7 out of 10, but with 2/3 players really excelling (not always the same player) at say 9/10 out of 10 performances which has made the difference in matches. Recently the team seems to be at 6/7 out of 10 imo at best which is a worry.

My 2 cents is that I don't think the players like FH. This is based on nothing other than what I've seen at games and in the new behind the scenes content we now get. I don't see a bond there at all.

Remember when players would absolutely GUSH over RDZ and Potter in the media? Not much of that now either.

I'm not 100% FAB out, but I think the players are, I think we'll have a stinking end to the season and I think he'll be gone.

I hope he makes this post look idiotic. But I don't think he will.

It's reasonable on a football message board to expect some degree of speculation about football.

Some of this will be quickly substantiated, some will be proved correct or otherwise over time and some will be baseless.

People can objectively look at all the evidence that's presented both on and off the field and make up their own minds concerning veracity.
With 20 + years experience you really should know better.

common sense, logic and sensibility gets you nowhere!

If it did, we could have escaped last century! ✊🏽

Well I certainly can’t see Matt O’Reilly leaving after several seasons here racking up goals and assists before “retiring” to Dortmund and giving Fab the gushing praise that Gross gave RDZ

Sources of information about players or Club morale etc are varied. Most people won’t stick their head above the parapet to share their source or the detail as the Club will undoubtedly protect their reputation.

and there are posters currently calling for Fab’s head who also called for Gross to be sold summer 2021 because he was too slow.
