Yeah, we negotiated and paid 7€ for one early doors, but 5€ later on. They were really friendly and the head steward was a nice guy too.

I had a great night but…

Idiots pissing in basins, bins and covering the women's toilet in piss too was rank. Ripping things off the walls because you’re emotionally immature isn’t clever either.

But the worst I saw was a BHAFC fan calling a woman a’f***ing bitch’ because she complained he was using the female toilets and had urinated everywhere. Big bloke, sunglasses hung on the back of his head. You can put up with a lot but being threatening and abuse to a woman is beyond scummy. And yes, stepped in …his eyes told the story. Charging.

Agree with every word. I heard about the ‘fan’ screaming at the woman and witnessed blokes pissing against the wall where drinks were being served after the game. The area was getting flooded and impossible to avoid wading through it. Lovely … not.

Travel bear praying at the Vatican for a better result next Thursday.

Despite the result yesterday, what an amazing experience. I love history and architecture and Rome is like an epicentre for it. I walked around so much my feet feel like they are falling off. Incredible city and feel so privileged to live in this continent with so much diversity and culture almost on our door step. Thanks Brighton players, Roberto De Zerbi and Tony Bloom, for giving me a reason to be here.

We go again next Thursday, let’s get the Amex Rocking what ever happens, I am so pleased to be part of it.
