Sorry if it’s been asked before but why when the Italian football fans are maniacs, is alcohol allowed in the seats? Our government tells us if we drink alcohol in our seats we just want to hit people?

It was a sell-out but unallocated seating I think, so I imagine groups of mates were stood more than one per seat at/near the back. No-one obviously would choose to stand right down the front

No, the reason for all the spaces was the Italian police apparently only let us sell 3500 tickets in an away section that actually has room for over 5000.
