Thanks for the pictures - brings back some lovely memories. Glad some of you are getting some sightseeing done, it’s a stunning City - I spent 10 days in Rome and still didn’t get round to seeing everything I wanted to. Apart from the above sites, the Catacombs (spread all over) are well worth a visit as is Michelangelo’s Pieta situated in the Vatican along with a ton of Bernini statues in various piazzas around the city ( particularly the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi). I used Trams as a convenient way to get to most sites (and cheaper than buses). Spent an inordinate amount of time in coffee bars during the day drinking amazing cappuccinos and mocha lattes and drinking wine or beer in the bars in the evening.

Divertiti!
Barbarian! Never after breakfast :lolol:

my god it's a dump.

Looks like it literally took them a day to build.
The new replacement stadium is almost up and running to - just got to complete the upper tier bar areas and add roof …

The Fatherland
Is that the Latin translation of a proper bollocking from the pigs?
This was on the menu in the restaurant I went to tonight.

Only just got here so no chance to see the sights yet, tho quick walk around the Termini area late at night and the area seemed pretty safe to me, lots of couples and other folk wandering about carefree.

How many Italian babestation channels do the good Roman folk need tho, even more than the football talk TV shows

Good luck with that. When I was there earlier the local constabulary blew a whistle at a chap that just went to sit down on the stone surrounding the fountain. He got a right telling off.
Blimey, I haven't been to Rome for about 18 years, we were certainly allowed to sit on the stone then.
