It might have been asked before, but how/why have the top two lasted so long? I'm not really up with Harrogate's and Wycombe's history over the past decade or so, but is it just a case of them both doing 'OK' enough to neither get sacked, nor poached by anyone else?

Just seems really odd (but refreshing) to see at a time when the average length of a manager's spell is something like two years!

If John Coleman hadn't spent a couple of years when he left for a bigger club (Rochdale!) he'd have been top. 21 years in the job, in total. The reason being that he's taken Accrington to 4 promotions, 0 relegations, and the chairman more than recognises that mid-table league one on 2,000 gates is pretty darn good.

I think Harrogate and Wycombe are similar - the chairmen (and fans) don't have delusions of grandeur, and recognise that you can't win the league every year.
