It's a shame to see him go to be honest, he put 100% into every single performance and he had the ability to go with it. I had his name put on the back of my shirt last season - then he changed his squad number to 8 and now he's leaving! Ah well, it is a great bit of business and it's a good move for all concerned.

Cheers Alex!

*providing he agrees terms

I said earlier anything north of £100k would be damn good business for him. Bit of a shame though, as he would lend a bit of strength in depth on the bench behind the first choice partnership of Forster and Murray, but good luck to the fella. Hope he does well there.

That's exactly how I feel. Seems a bit sad to see him go, but also hope he does well.

Is he not the player who recently scored a Hat-trick and gave 100% every time he pulled on a Albion shirt? I for one and shocked to see him leave.......good luck to the boy!!!!

A shame really but you can't turn down an offer like that.

Money and footballing ability cannot be compared like that, for example we got Forster for 75k, does that mean Revell is now twice as good as Forster...?

Why pay out three times as much money for a player who maybe only as good as Revell then? eh eh eh

Southend have just spent the same on Revell as we did on Bobby Z, think of it that way.

A) You have no proof it will be 3 times as much
B) You clearly overate Revell
C)Becuase he is clearly a goalscorer and considerably better than Revell ( Why else would the management team pay 300k for him)

I could go on but it would be pointless.

It's good bussiness on our behalf, and that's the bottom line.

Dont get me wrong Conboy i am not disputing the fact we may have bought a better player but i quite rated Revell.......you have to admit he was not shit, he tried his heart out and he had a bit of potential, seems a shame to getr rid of someone that cheaply when we have given longer careers to players of inferior ability IMO;)

Revell is a Southend fan, he always wanted to play for them. I expect he got a big pay rise to move too.

All the best Alex, thanks for your hard work. A decent fella I reckon
Good money.
Lets face it, the transfer window has been exciting for once for the Albion. Good work DK.
All we need now is a winger

It's a shame to see Alex go, I've always got time for any player who gives it his all when on the pitch but any fee over 100k represents a great bit of wheeling and dealing by Dick Knight and we couldn't say no.

Thanks for all your efforts Alex and good luck (except when you come up against us).
