Short term results can paper over cracks where as getting the performances right is more likely to lead to long-term success.
Obviously I want Brighton to win every game they play. But not necessarily at the expense of long-term success or the development of the squad.
It seems to be the same people justifying us playing the long-ball game because we have won a few games were the same people saying Adams would welcome in a new era of attacking, free flowing football.

I also think the results over performance attitude stretches far wider than Brighton and Hove Albion.
At youth football it is a huge problem and part of the reason our players develop technically inferior to those on the continent.
