Comes under the heading of Protestant

Only according to one wing of the church.

The Church of England has never called itself Protestant, but has always called itself 'the one true Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church'.

It is catholic - what I was wondering was whether Wilts meant 'Roman Catholic' when he said 'catholic', or whether he included CoE in his 'catholic'.

Where's Muslim and Hinduism?!

I wouldn't describe myself as overtly religeous, but I do try to live my life as close to the teachings of Sai Baba (a Hindu God) as is possible. Since doing so within the last year or so I can honestly say that I feel a far better person for it, far more at ease with myself and others.

Religion differences are the great cause of trouble.

But morals are what decide what is right and what is wrong, and in our society (over the last 2000 years) where else have they come from apart from the Bible? Even if it isn't true, it still is the foundation of the morals and values that we all have today.

So religion provides stability, and yet fecks it all up too. Woooo a paradox

Actually it's somewhere between Protestant and Catholic. Mainstream traditional CofE is rather like a liberal from of Roman Catholicism., but it is a broad alliance and some Anglicans are very close to Evangelical Protestantism.

I'm an agnostic. My rational mind says there is no God but really there's no way of knowing for definite.

its not religion that causes problems, its the human beings that use it as an excuse to oppress other humans

religion is not a factor of morals, and morals are based right or wrong by the society it is in. Different societies, different morals, many societies that do not have religion still have morals.
