True... but Bushy seems to think Boris has a real grasp of it all...

None of them do, there never will be a mayor of London who everyone will like. Id just choose someone on how realistic their proposals are (Ken and Boris both have some really crap ideas though) - im happy i dont live in London for now

it more what he doesnt do to be honest, i'll never ever forgive livingstone for inviting adams and mcguiness over to london at the height of the f***ing IRA bombing campaign, and as for his cynical " beacon of islam" bollocks............

Ok thats understandable... but he was clearly only trying to diffuse the current situation. It seems to me that it was a means to try and start a peace talk (i do not know too much about it all so please dont quote me)... However how do you know Boris would have done anything differently?

To be honest im not too keen on any of the candiates for mayor... When ever i see Boris interviewed he seems to be blagging and f***ing up the most basic of questions... He must have some team around him to be keeping him in the running.

Must admit i only ever get Boris leaflets etc posted through my door. Never had anything from any other party...

He was leader of the GLC at the time, take it from me defusing situations and peace talks werent what he was trying to do.
I can't comment... as i wasn't old enough to know really... but accept your point.. Boris however may have done the same...

Have you seen how stupid Boris looks though when being interviewed? he just seems like a bumbling fool that loves the idea of being mayor but isnt any good at it..

Boris' PR and Marketing team must be the hardest working team in the country

Which is quite a piss take as it was labour that made him a Lord... Think Suagr was a bit out of order there.

That was kind of the point behind the post. If a Labour peer, and successful businessman thinks Ken is a deffinate no-no for mayor, there's got a be a damned good reason for it, not just petty dislike. Clueless Ken will be an unmitigated disaster for London if he wins.

Not that Boris is any better of course.

I'm voting for Paddick.

Tired of the Boris/Ken circus. Don't see anything more than cynical, populist tubthumping in either of their policies and don't believe either of them has the tiniest shred of integrity.

Thought about this... but thought it would be a wasted vote... I know if everyone thought like that but ....
