Disappointing news.

I have been wanting Assulin on the bench to replace Vicente if he gets injured.

I am not a great Dicker fan either. He loses the ball because he was limited ball skills.

Pretty sure razak jumped on the train to London that I was on with loads of other fans after the forest game. We were all a bit shocked to see him. We thought it was due to virus going around, and not being allowed to be with the squad if showing symptoms, but maybe there was a fall out. Did anyone else see him?

Assulin was at Burnley warming up with the squad. He's still with us.

More to this than we probably know, but i wouldnt be surprised he he was getting pissy at the fact he wasnt being played and asked to go back.

I agree, my first impression of razak from his interview on seagulls player was that he had a big ego to go with his skills. When asked how worried is he about fighting for first team action with the likes of vicente and bridcutt and our other midfielders, he seemed very confident. The rumors about him seem plausible.

He pissed Poyet off....end of.

This. Any good natured manager would have 0 tolerance and I'm sorry if I offend any "Razak-fanatics" he had it coming. Professional football is a job full of conducts and obligations to abide by.

f*** that up, you cock up all your chances. Razak is a prime example.

Morale of the story: do not piss off your manager!

Think this applies to all jobs-anyone can have all the qualifications in the world but if the face don't fit or the attitude is wrong it's a case of this-

This.

A scout at Chelsea who runs the Southdown Rovers youngsters club told me a quote which says a lot:

"In the professional game. It's 90% attitude; 10% ability"

This is so true-
I know 2 ex Brighton players from the 90's and a good friend of mine never made it-he had far more ability then them but was played out of position at trials and did not like the ugly part of the game-tracking back and marking..

Razak clearly has more talent than Dicker. Anyone would be a fool to disagree. But if his attitude is not right (supposedly) then it's pointless having the ability

Was brilliant on his debut, then couldn't even make the squad...shame for him but good for us

Have you ever seen Dicker play?

Yes and granted he was quality last season but to be fair before he broke his leg this season it wasnt happening for him and im not the only one who thinks that because i remember him getting a slating on here quite a few times before the west ham game.Razak has potential premiership quality can you really say that about dicker? Its a no brainer who you would rather have in our team

this ..would seem to make u the dickhead

To many on here I'm sure it would. And that's fine. People are entitled to their opinions. If dicker and navarro were really better though would man city not have signed them instead of razak? Oh...

I suspect we will see him again soon, rumours are he could be the next big thing at City if given the chance. I am gutted that it didn't work out here on loan
