How anyone can say Kuipers had a poor game is beyond me. With the exception of one cross when he should have caught instead of punched, he did nothing wrong. Even that punch was what he decided to do, it certainly wasn't a "flap" or a "drop." Other than that, his kicking was good, he made 2 or 3 nice saves, he held on to a few tough crosses and shots. What more could he have done? When you consider the utter shit being served up by the rest of the team, it's pretty sad the same biased idiots choose to pick on the goalie just because it's Michel.

What about the fact he was beaten on his near post for the goal.

Or when he came flying out his box and kicked the ball against his own player ?

Mistakes that Hendo would have be flamed for

Gareth - you're as boring as Ernest when you're in this mood.
Nobody can take you seriously when you post drivel like that.

I gotta say Unc I agree with Hans, I saw that and just thought what a stupid post it was. Forster wasn't great but a mark of 1? Do behave.

The marks of 4 for Butters, Robinson and El-Abd are also nonsense. Does anybody seriously think we could WIN a league match where SEVEN of our players genuinely put in performances worth an average of 4 points.

You're forgetting - he WANTS us to fail. It's part of his Master Plan to post as much about Wilkins as others did about McGhee.

He's gutted we didn't fail of course, hence the 'Overall - 4' bit. Unless he's talking about his work clothes - the ones with straps and buckles.

You see, I don't actually believe US wants us to fail at all. He's an Albion fan. A downright miserable one at times, but a fan nonetheless.

As you say though, too many people on here have their own background agenda which colours everything they post.

So many people who have completely lost the ability to be objective, so they just stick to their tired whining whatever happens on the pitch.

Last week, by all accounts we were pretty good at Crewe, created a lot, and were desperately unlucky to come away with nothing. The downers on here told us " playing well means nothing, its the result that matters".

Fast forward 7 days and we put in a reasonable if uninspiring performance but scratch out a vital win, and we're told by the same people that the performance does matter after all, and that we should basically forget the fact that we won because we were shit and will surely lose every week if we play like that.

It a very strange attitude, and one that I genuinely do not understand.

What works clothes are you on about Al ???. I will do a post about my rationale for my posts but can't be bothered at the moment frankly.

people are also deluding themselves if they think Saturday was a good performance, the last 20 minutes we raised it but the 70 minutes before we extremely poor, more of the same, judging on the last 20 we could hold our own in mid table this season, based on the first 70 we will go down without a doubt. Good points, great team spirit especiaaly in the last 20 minutes, Revell and particularly Elphich were good

A good striker would be happy to get 2 clear cut chances in a game, and, would expect to put at least one of them away.Perhaps he was over eager on his home debut.I dont think he offered anymore than Gatting, Elder or Savage could have done.No doubt he'll contribute more another day though.
Yeah, what I meant was the service was not right for him to make a telling contribution to the game overall - he was being asked to battle for high balls most of the time and that is not what he is about. So an unimpressive performance is forgiveable. But his use of the 2 chances was very disappointing, the one where he was through he should have at least tested the keeper, and the one set up by Bas you really would hope he score those type of chances. I'm sure there is more to come from him though.

My mind has gone blank here. The second chance you mention here I remember. What was the build up to the first one? When was it?
