Well aware of that. Can manage basic maths. Just wanted to know if sky sports had actually stated the fee reduction overnight had freed up the last bit of our funds as had been suggested.

I was reading an article somewhere today that stated in some cases, fees agreed are not neccesarily paid up front but are staggered over the course of an agreed time frame. Of course, we are not privy to our business, but if some of our more expensive signings have been purchased that way, then we may have more in the kitty than media are speculating.

That often happens. It seems that was a major stumbling block in Barcelona's bid for Coutinho. Their final offer was worth up to 118 million but they were only offering 16 mill up front.
