Never mind Rafa at the moment - are the final i's and t's actually crossed and dotted on the Izquierdo deal yet?

Update. Sky News seem to think that he (Izquierdo) is in contention for tonight against Barnet, so maybe it's all been finally sorted now? Or are Sky jumping the gun?

Hughton said a couple of days back he would play some part against Barnet, but has apparently changed his mind according to the Argus and will be training with the first XI instead.

So Chris has watched him train over the last week and decided he's not good enough to play Barnet, and needs further training

I assume you're talking about the 2nd goal in the match - which was a great right-footed strike. But it's not Dwamena.

Opps. You're right, that was some Johnny Boy scoring that goal. Dwamena fed on two scraps at the end.

There are still 3 right footed goals in his main showreel for those who love a right footed goal!

He hasn't been able to train with us for the 10 days prior to the work permit and visa being sorted.

He hasn't been able to train with Brighton in public. He's been allowed to train, there's nothing to stop him keeping fit and match ready. And nothing to stop Chris watching. He's just not been allowed to work for us prior to the permit being finalised.

Of course he has been working on his fitness, but it seems he has not been able to train with the team which is pretty important.

Slightly underestimating the importance of having had some time training with the rest of the team there methinks.

And you're CLUTCHING at straws! Just FACE it, he's not GOOD enough to play against Barnet, a League 2 TEAM!
