The muslim community is on edge ? why ? last time i looked it was the " muslim community" that blew up buses and tube trains murdering fifty odd people in the process , it's incidents where people like yourself and daveinprague do your utmost to dismiss the poppy burners as " a group of nutters , not worth bothering about " when they caused gross offence to a majority of people in the country , and then go on to tell us how offensive pigs are to muslims and demand his jailing that gives the impression that you and quite clearly the judiciary operate double standards.
no you mean it was muslims
You know exactly what I am implying, being offensive is a right, it has to be because too many people like you wish to impose the thresholds.
You offend regularly as I do to, to different degrees, it needn't be an offence even if it upsets us greatly.
no it was a group of radicals, unlike yourself i dont tar a whole faith with the same brush
i havnt tarred the lot with the same brush.youve made that assumption pal..im stateing FACT they were muslims!!!
who was it then?.white christians?
fair enough "part of" the muslim community. No it wasn't. What a stupid starting point to go from.
It wasn't the muslim community, it was 4 radicalised individuals. I've said it before and I'll say it again we've suffered far more at the hands of the Catholic IRA, but never demonised Catholicism, and yet people like yourself appear to wish to demonise an entire community and religion because it has a radicalised element - well heres the news, all religion has it's extremists and it's radicals. Always has, always will. Someone always needs to believe something a bit more than someone else.
fair enough "part of" the muslim community.
that sentence about the jealous streak says it all, why do you instantly assume that i'm jealous ? and mentioning her is relevant because you've used her and her religion to justify a position or back up your argument on many many occasions on this board, and can you tell me what i've said that makes me a racist "twunt" ?Bore off about my bird? lol...youre the only one mentioning her...
If you want to make it personal, ok..I think youre a racist twunt.
Im neither fat, bald, or pony tailed, and people on this board can verify, she is far from munterish. Im sorry its making your jealous streak make itself known, along with your latent racism.
as for mentioning current conflicts...why not? They are current conflicts...which conflicts would you prefer?
Which conflicts are relevent to muslims burning poppies?
Causing offence isn't the issue here - it's the fact that, in addition to the pig's head - he wrote graffiti over the mosque. I very much doubt that if I wrote offensive graffiti over your house you'd accept it was just "an act of freedom".
If someone wrote offensive graffiti over my house, what would the charge be ??
Why should a group of religious people have greater sanctions when they are the victims of the same crime ?
why is it the wrong way of looking at it ? why is it that as a previous poster has attested to a "muslim community that is already on edge" , thus painting the whole country as racist thugs , and non muslims are encouraged to totally ignore that it was part of the muslim community that bombed tubes and buses ? why is it that muslims can muster hundreds of thousands for a march in london expressing yet more anger and outrage , all over some cartoons ? how about a march expressing anger and outrage about 4 people that set off bombs killing commuters going to work ?Still completely the wrong way of looking at it, exactly the sort of thing that breeds racism in the first place.
You can argue the sematics all day long but all YOU will ever be to the muslim community is a kaffir and an infidel making you inferior and to be converted by the sword if needs be.
