Seems a bit cowardly not to have the guts to admit why you vote for them. .
From the far end of a keyboard, priceless!
Do Ukippers EVER get tired of banging on about how they are "not racist but immigration must be controlled"? We get it. What's hilarious is that they think voting Ukip is going to change anything on that front. It is also laughable when you lot say "Whatever makes the main parties sit up and take notice". You don't even have the balls to admit you voted Ukip because you like them for what they are, not for any other reason. Seems a bit cowardly not to have the guts to admit why you vote for them.
You always say "We can't even talk about immigration". Yes. You can. It is ALL you EVER talk about but try and get a clue about it instead of sneering at people who want to talk about it with a bit of sense and an eye on the FACTS.
Are you serious or have you only just paid attention to the past few months in respect of political news?I have to agree with you the survey is a load of pants and the reporting by the Guardian is verging on the barmy its always good to see an article on important issues like this squeeze Jeremy Clarkson in there somehow......adds to the validity doesnt it.
How many more fallacies do you want to spout?Hitler wanted a European Union
If the rich and the global companies pay their taxes then we won't have to worry about overcrowding schools and the nhs ETC... at the end of the day the real fact is 97% of immigrants PAY tax. It is the governments fault if the people feel squeezed, but no we all blame the easy target... the newest minority into the UK..
This is like banging my head against a brick wall
Hitler wanted a European Union
Glad it is backfiring on them. A rotten party who don't want to listen and will never apologise. They like to tell everyone else what to do. Labour treat the general public like little children.
Interesting read below...

I agree. I find the constant nastyness towards UKIP really boring now. Be nice to have some form of proper debate, so we can all work out the pros and cons of the EU.
It's not really interesting, is it? It's sensationalist, emotive and laughably one-sided. Reading articles on such an agenda driven site is never going to be enlightening; it only serves to reinforce the views of its readers.

you pay tax when you buy a chocolate bar
Got to say, that's a bit rich coming from you. Before the elections there were dozens of threads started all ripping the piss out of UKIP and plenty of people sneering, including yourself. Obviously it didn't work. That's probably why you're so pissed off.

It's important to remember that in times of hardship people are always drawn towards xenophobia, it is simply human nature to blame the "outsider" for domestic problems. This was seen in ancient times, but more recently the Japanese in China, the Armenians in Turkey, The East Indians in Uganda, the Muslims in India - and so on.
UKIP voters ARE xenophobic, opposing immigration is xenophobic by definition. An outbreak of nationalism was an inevitable outcome of economic recession, as we can observe all over Europe, not just in the UK.
However the reason that UKIP and all other far-right parties will always be a joke is because they don't attempt to address the real problems, such as growing social and economic inequality. Immigration isn't the problem, it's barely even a problem - but it does highlight the actual problems, it's just convenient for the main parties and the ruling classes that so many people choose to ignore them, and instead blame other people simply for being from other place.
...and that nicely brings this thread full circle, seeing as the subject matter is a very selective reading of some statistics by a newspaper determined to link UKIP with racism.
