I also disagree, can't even use the excuse of FA Cup magic, it's the poor mans FA cup. Would happily take a 9-0 pasting off them for all 9 points against LCFC LUFC and CPFC.

LFC. Special opponents. Special night. Don't are if FAC or LC. Occasion will be more relaxing & enjoyable, and a higher level of football than the nasty night versus Freedman's lower standard lot.

LFC night will hopefully be a taster of games in a year or two's time.

And in the big picture, 7 or 9 points in those 3 games will be massive.

I'd take 50-0 for that. It really is that much of a non-important event to me. If it was a semi-final or final I might feel a bit different. Probably not mind.

Ok pathetic was a bit strong.

Clueless is probably the right word.

Your so pre occupied with Palace it seem all your postings are in someway always connected with the Palace game,
Club rivalry is on thing but yours is bordering on obsession. Even to the point you stated if Murray got hit a bottle, "it would make my day" !! that is not the thinking or a rational fan, but someone obsessed with a rival team.
Liverpool are a better team playing a better standard of football with better players with a better history.
where as Palace, we will be playing them twice this season, when will we next get to play Liverpool.

I'm convinced we'll be in the premiership in the next three seasons. Palace are our rivals and any game against them is infinitely more important than any other game.

I find it hard to get excited about the visit of Liverpool. Maybe 3 or 4 years ago it might have been different, but we are a club on the up with decent facilities, a top drawer manager and an emerging team. To top it all we are currently heading the Championship, on merit, with 2-3 players still to come back from injury. The biggest bonus for the club is that it will be another good 'pay day' and the opportunity for national media exposure.

While I hope we give a good account of ourselves I am firmly focussed on the Leeds game Friday week and have let my mate have my season ticket option.

I care much more about Palace than this, although caring more about Leeds would be a lie
