Great result. Saturday at 5.15 ensures no clash with Mothers Day which after losing Valentines Day has saved an element of further discomfort but more importantly ensures a better atmosphere. Hard to get it going at lunchtime.
The confirmed fixture means that, not only am I free Mother's Day, but also that the Villa match has moved from my 30th Wedding Anniversary to the following night

They never think of the SWARMS of fans living in Asia.

2:15a.m k.o time for those of us in Japan. And some of us have work in the morning. Stupid F.A...

On a slightly more serious note though wouldn't Fulham Palace be better in the 5:15 slot with both teams being London based? If our game with Forest goes to extra time/penalties the game won't finish until 8pm. Can they get back to nottingham? Same with the sunday games. Wouldn't it be easier for Villa fans getting back from Preston. Isn't it easier for them than it is for Man City fans getting back from Bournemouth?

The FA and the Premier League have issued a joint statement saying that all PL teams remaining in the Cup will play their ties on Tuesday 1st April. It has been decided that those clubs involved will play a ‘double header’ on the day.

Therefore, Brighton and Hove Albion v Nottingham Forest will kick off at 4.00pm in their FA Cup tie. This will allow for sufficient time to include the possibility of extra time and a penalty shoot out. Following this the PL fixture between Brighton and Hove Albion v Aston Villa will start at 8.00pm.

Nottingham Forest will have sufficient time to return to the City Ground for their PL fixture with Manchester United with a 8.00 pm kick off.

Aston Villa will play their FA Cup at Preston North End with a kick off time at 3.00 pm thus allowing sufficient time at the conclusion of the tie to travel to Brighton.

AFC Bournemouth v Manchester City TBA.

Should the above arrangements be unsuccessful in their execution the relevant ties will be decided by a toss of a coin.
I’d actually love this as it is my birthday 😂😂😂😂

Throw into the mix no trains Brighton to Three Bridges. To the delight of nobody, it's a Replacement Bus weekend.
