Not knowing the lay out up there , are there any boozers that will be near the station / stadium. Heard the Swan mentioned a few times, any good ?

Simple answer, no.

Drink in Lewes or Brighton. I imagine the pubs around London Road station are going to do very well out of the stadium, The Railway especially given that they have a big screen, it might even make them give the place a clean once in a while.

Haven't been in the Swan in years, but it used to have good ale.Perhaps a sufficiency of Blue and White stripes of a Saturday could convince the landlord that a little bar on a distant, erm, costa would suit him better.

I couldn't think of a less appropriate place to celebrate, personally. I would rather have been surrounded by Albion fans to share the good times with.

there was about 4 albion fans sitting in the beer garden drinking and we was having a laugh with them....

when we arrived in falmer village.. we asked a local where the swan was and she was very poilite and told us where to go and she was an albion season ticket holder also he husband was a copper.... and he said that they got a letter of the lewes council in the day time about closing the swan for last night as they thought there would be loads of trouble...

any ways that lady and her copper husband turned up at the swan just as we was leaving

Now that's a classic stir up from LDC, innit? What trouble? And why would there by any trouble? Especially since there have been many occasions when circumstances have left thousands of Albion fans unhappy about the carryings on in Falmer village. Nobody caused trouble then so why would there be any problems yesterday when there was something to celebrate. Albeit quietly given the need to wait 42 days before being out of the wood!

Methinks a local council near us was rather hoping for the chance to prove a theory about rampaging, duck stoning, drunken hoolies. And have been rather scuppered by the landlord of the Swan who stayed open!!!
