there is no fantasy money tree.

Anti-austerity actually means more borrowing, more debt, wasting ever more on debt interest to pay for things today and then dumping the bill on the next generation.

these are dickhead students and anarchists being led astray by trade unions wounded that their puppet was just rejected. they wont accept the situation, they'll try and cause chaos.

I think you will find that one of their policies was not to renew Trident and invest the billions saved in education, social care and infrastructure, you are right, there is no Fantasy Money Tree ( unless you count Quantative Easing ) but there are plenty of Money Pits.

That'll be the BBC whose Chief Political Correspondent was a former President of the Oxford University Conservative Association (Nick Robinson) and World Affairs Editor wrote regularly for the Tory edited Spectator.

Of course the Beeb have a few journalists with a lefty past too which is why they're acknowledged as neutral.

You can do your own Googling this time.

The BBC is shamelessly left wing Bias, they dont even try and hide it much........ there's so many incidences. Stephanie Flanders from the leftie Islington set and former bird of Milliband who's now left, Laura Kunnesbergs father Nicholas was the main funder of Wendy Alexander when she lead Scottish Labour in Holyrood as an MSP, Wendy is the sister of Douglas Alexander just vanquished and Laura as you know is a BBC political commentator, how cosy.

What about handing the job of BBC corporation strategy to James Purnell??, yes thats James Purnell the ex labour minister..... there is so much more if you're interested?

The BBC has to try and not be seen to be Bias but strategy is directed by a died in the wool labour supporter as are many in its news programming.

Every time there is a legitimate protest in Central London, it receives zero press attention but for the reporting of the obligatory daubing of graffiti on monuments of reverence.

It plays so much into the establishment's hands that it's a wonder they don't have undercover officers with spraypaint infiltrating these marches.

You are so clever, wow

Reading some of the posts on here and on a number of threads I find it truly disturbing.

For years there's been a call to end the class wars. Whilst most are happy not to place people in to the system there are those that are rapidly redefining one. The gutter class.

You lost, you're bitter, you're twisted. Just because some have differing views to you doesn't make them idiots, scum, brainless, uncaring, Nazis or any other distasteful insult. All you are doing is showing yourself up.

FFS grow up and go and have a w**K or something to chill out.

There must be enough cctv camera's around there to identify those brave parasites, once found they should be publicly forced to clean it themselves

This and people lap up the establishment press feeding out the brain washing .

Incredible we have another 5 years of deepening cuts . How they got voted in is a shock . It must be purely down to the press protecting them and people believing what they read . Can only think the Scottish press is a bit more truthful and they've voted anti austerity .

Good on the protests . Know more than your average joe !

Another left wing denial, its all the press, nothing to do with us, if only we had a press that reporting things "correctly" then everyone would see the light, we would be im a socialist dream. And to support that graffiti confirms you are a complete kn^b

Sorry, did you miss Nick Robinson's title there? The bloke running the POLITICAL department is an acknowledged Tory. Andrew Neil is on regularly and ran the show for much of Friday morning. For every example you give there's a counter example. Which is why they are as near to dammit neutral as is possible.

Robbie Gibb? Deputy Chair of a Tory youth wing shut down by Norman Tebbit for being too right wing. Want to google Guto Harri?

I think I've deciphered this shitstorm of bad English. Do you have some kind of problem with me? You seem very pre-occupied with my Saturday afternoon activities. I am quite hard working as it goes, just not on my afternoon off!
I don't like the Tories or the Monarchy and am happy to say so.
I suggest you get your own shit together and don't concern yourself with what people you don't know and have never met get up to on their days off you wally.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
I can see their point. There is enough money floating about to make sure everyone is comfortable in their life.

Austerity means cuts to basic services and people/children whom will never be able to contribute to society, whilst the mega rich get richer.

What utter tosh, sensible people don't take to the streets and paint slogans on war memorials when the civilized majority are remembering VE day, and the sacrifices that many suffered to ensure that we have a democracy where different views are tolerated.

Also it just seems to be the 'in thing' to be anti Tory although they obtained a majority in what is a long established voting system which is understood by all. Violence and civil unrest will not obtain a change.

If the civil unrest does come, no doubt rather than protests we will see those that feel they are entitled to everything on a plate, will be filmed helping themselves to 50" TVs and other expensive electrical and luxury brand goods.

Funny that most people can fully accept the result of the election, even if their party did not gain power. The way to change this is via the ballot box, not violence.

As can be seen locally many people quickly picked up that the Greens were(are) next to useless in everything they do, but waited 4 years to vote them out, rather than deciding to go to the Old Steine demolish the was memorial.

I agree. The protestors don't care about democracy so for them its ok. But for those on here who do, who argued long and hard for their partiy, to now say this is ok is totally unacceptable.

This is probably just the beginning, the inevitable civil unrest which will be exacerbated by the impending Tory cuts.

Both the left and right are feeling an utter failure of democracy right now. 7.5m UKIP, Green and Lib Dem voters all have every right to feel disgruntled - the 9 million Labour voters won't feel much better.

We have an interesting few years ahead of us.

Yawn. Left and right disgruntled with democracy? If the "right" in your mind is UKIP then this election has proved that their vote is from all political groups. i said to you many weeks ago.there has been unrst for decades, and there willbe for decades more. Dull

Not particularly but I suppose it gives the Tory voters something to feel righteous about. The memorials they visit once a year and pretend to care while the Tory party tears apart everything the war was ACTUALLY fought for.

moaning about a war memorial being defaced makes that person a self righteous Tory voter, faking it anyway........christ on a bike you are unhinged.
