Here's a copy and paste from one of the Profit Squad community members who I've known from the site for the last 6 months or so. She knew nothing about sport nor gambling before she started this:

So I have made it to my 1 year profit squad anniversary! What a year. I certainly didn’t expect it to be this good. I thought sharing my figures and experience may help motivate people, particularly those just starting out like I was this time last year. When I started I needed a lot of motivation and confidence as I felt out of my depth and doubted myself frequently. Profit squad has helped me every step of the way.

I have made just over £35,000 to date. Initially it was new customer offers and ongoing reloads etc but it progressed onto more advantaged strategies such as dutching and advanced casino offers. I have had a few bumps in the road, sometimes through silly errors or rushing in and other times through a streak of losses, but those times have been brief and always taught me something . Every month I keep a tab of profits AND losses. It keeps me grounded and focused. I learn by my mistakes and get encouraged by great results, so profit squad as a community as well as a go to for training has been brilliant.

Casino offers and dutching have brought in my biggest wins, with the smaller but more consistent payouts from regular sports offers topping the total up. The key to all of this is to stick with it because it can and will make you money. I still have things to learn and I know there is a lot more money to be made!

Thanks for this detailed response Bozza i will have a look at the videos looks a better and safer bet than some of my share dealing....

Some eye-watering sums being bandied about here. I joined profit squad last October and to date am about £700 to the good. Not a fortune but I'm thrilled to bits with my profit. Money that I never would have had. Don't do it all the time but just dip into it every now and again with a new sign up or bookies email offer. The Coral "bet and get " and Skybet club give regular if small free bets every week.

Example (although this goes off the standard process above slightly):

1. I have backed Newcastle to win for £1000 @ 1.36 tonight with WH.
2. I've actually backed the draw with another bookmaker.
3. ...and a Preston win with another bookmaker.

I actually make a small profit regardless of the outcome, but that's not why I'm doing it. I'm doing it because I want there to be 4 or more goals in the game.

If Newcastle win and there are 4 or more goals in the game (any combination will do, eg, 3-1, 3-2, 4-0 etc) then I will receive a free bet equal to 25% of my winnings. My winnings will be £360 ((£1000 * 1.36) - £1000) so I will receive a free bet for £90. I'll be able to convert that into cash of £65-70 which is profit and mine to take away.

So £12.50 profit simply for Newcastle winning and a £90 free bet (for 4+ goals) which I'll convert into around £70 cash tomorrow. All without risking a single penny.

There are some strategies which go beyond simple matched betting that Profit Squad also advise on. These are things you wouldn't look at as a novice as there can be some risk to your own money.

One of them is each way dutching where, for certain races, it is possible to bet on every horse in a race such that you can't lose and can, potentially, win big. One such race was the Champion Chase at Cheltenham this year. I had £750 on Douvan, the favourite, to win but I didn't want him to win. He didn't, and I made a profit of over £1000 on that race alone.

They also advise on casino and slots offers where the odds are in your favour but aren't risk free. Again, you only look at these when you have built up a bit of a bank such that you are able to ride out losses. Following Profit Squad's approach with one of these I won around £1,800 on a slots loophole.

I don't doubt it for one second. I made c£4,500 in March but that included a few gambling losses (I don't keep very granular records). My matched betting profit in isolation was more in the £5,000 ballpark.

I've been on MB part-time for just over a year now, and part-time would be an exaggeration.
As mentioned previously, I've rinsed the sign up offers, done a few reloads and taken up the email offers.
I've also done the odd casino and slot offer, but I'm probably 20% of the way through.

I made approx £4K - £6K on all of the above.
Where does that extra £30 grand come from?

Fair play getting a bag of sand on with Hills. Have you been gubbed by many bookies yet? Just curious if football rather than racing betting leads to less restrictions.

Dutching is certainly 1 of them. I've made more money on this than anything else. As mentioned in a previous post you can guarantee a profit on certain races, but if the short favourite doesn't come in you can make some big money. Last one for me was Douvan not winning which resulted in £600 profit roughly. Some people in the site made 2-3k from that race alone. I've recently found the benefits of racing refunds. This was something I had not thought of doing previously but you can do these with a small qualifying loss £1-2 max but easily make larger money off a free bet. Bet365 for example on certain races have free bet up to £50 if you finish 2nd. Others have their own versions of something similar.
Football accumulators I've spoken to people who are making good money their as well but not something I've started on yet likewise their advanced casino training which I've watched but not done yet. Obviously not everyone wins every time but if you have a bank big enough to take the good offers defo worth doing these.
The lady who made that sort of money is very good at it and is very helpful person to chat to.

Bouncy bounce. Is anyone still doing this? I have been able to give it a go over the set few weeks and due to restricted cash flow, guess without checking exactly I made a couple hundred piece of cake. A couple of the offers I didn't have enough to lay them so looked at them as enhanced odds bets, my that I mean I was happy to lay a qualifying bet for say, £9 paid for a £10 free bet, stake not returned. Didn't win but hey ho

Couple of things, anyone use oddsmonkey? They seem to be a lot better imho with regards to their opening offers list and some tools.
Other thing, and I know it isn't risk free, but has anyone tried or done the sums in not paying the free bets, you could theoretically not lay them, put them all on odds on favourites, and the rules of probability could mean that you could do better? Of course this isn't no risk, but wouldn't it be like playing a roulette where a higher percentage of one colour is the one you are getting better than evens on for a 50:50 bet? Does that make sense even? Bozza et al?

21 months in and I have just broken through the £8,000 profit barrier. If you don't lay your free bet, you are not match betting you are gambling and long term unlikely to make much money. To qualify for a free bet usually costs between 50p and £1.50 per £10. If you then placed your £10 free bet on an odds on favourite at say 1.3 you will make £3, less you qualifying profit IF IT WINS. Remember you don't get your stake back on a free bet. By betting on something with odds of 4.0 or greater and locking in the profit guarantees around £7.50-£8.00 WHAT EVER THE RESULT less your qualifying loss.

Therefore each £10 free bet your way COULD make around £2 profit, by match betting WILL make around £7 profit

Not laying a free bet is a valid strategy, but not at short odds.

Eg, an evens (2.0) shot has a 50% chance of winning, so if you always placed a free bet at these odds, you'd have a long-term value extraction of 50%, eg one £10 bet wins and the next loses etc.

If you placed the free bets on a 4/1 (5.0) shot, you have a 20% chance of winning so 5 * £10 free bets would see you lose 4 and win 1, returning £40, so you'd be getting 80% value extraction, which is around what you'd generally be aiming for with a back/lay of a free bet.

If you don't lay though, you need to be prepared for a lean run where your free bets just don't hit, and you'll have other runs where you hit more than you'd expect.

I got drawn back into matched betting for Cheltenham and did a bit more but I've stopped again as I just don't have the time.

I will get something together though to help people start and make some money from this. I made about £15k in my first 6 months broadly November 2016 - May 2017.

I've used oddsmonkey for 2 years and it is excellent. I cleared £2000 over the world cup month (enhanced with Wimbledon and horses), and to be honest if I hadn't f*cked up a couple of times it would have been a lot more. Their tools are superb - they have all sorts (standard/free bet calculator, Dutching calculator, and then several matchers including a mobile friendly version of their oddsmatcher. Their community forums are also excellent. I pay £15 pcm although I think for new subscribers that is now £17.99.

On the subject of matched betting, the one thing I have come to realise is that - aside from the big events like the world cup - the real money is best made in the shops rather than online.

Are profit squad / oddsmonkey things that can be done in the evenings after work, or do you need to be able to do it during the working day when horse racing is going on?

In the summer there are loads of evening horse race meetings and in the winter you have evening football matches. The casino offers ( which do have a certain amount of risk) can be done anytime of the day or night. Accumulator offers can be done in the evenings for future matches. You will make more money if you are able to do it during the day but still make a decent return in evenings and weekends.

Yes. I tend to do it on the train into work, and I then rinse bookmakers at lunchtime - I work in London so this is rich pickings for me.

If I can be arsed, here is my lunchtime routine:
1) 12-12:15 William Hills - flash odds in shop guaranteeing an arbitrage profit - max bet £20. There are two nearby that I can visit in that time, locks in a profit of between £5-£12 depending on the arb.
2) Visit my local Corals and Ladbrokes shops both offer a "bet 5 get 1 free" card, where you bet once a day. Lock in a small loss (50p - £1 ish) per day, after 5 days get a £25 free bet at each.
3) Paddy Power currently running a free bet if 2nd to SP fav" offer to £20. Unlike similar online offers, you can of course bet on multiple horses meaning a better chance of hitting this. Each day, at least £20 made on this.
4) Fred - I sometimes pop into Fred looking for a boost which locks in an arbitrage opportunity. It isn't always there though.

I'd quite like to get cracking on these, but will signing up to a gazillion sites affect my credit score? Apologies if this has already been asked.

Nothing to do with credit score, as you are not getting or applying for credit. There may be soft searches to check identity but only you can see these.

Will have a look at Profit Squad website - I'm REALLY dumb when it comes to any level of complexity in betting whatsoever, so hope I can understand it.
