What I also did wrong is get a £20 fee casino bet on one of the casino deals. Should have played through that at the lowest stake possible, following the blackjack strategy, then roll it on to other things. Instead I misunderstood the shitty website, went all in on the £20 first hand and lost. Ah well. Made up for it just about elsewhere I think but lesson learned to avoid the casino deals.

Yes concentrate on sports betting to start with there are loads of opportunities to build up your bank almost risk free. Casino offers are profitable but a lot do come with some risk although there are still a few zero risk offers there as well.

And set up a spreadsheet to record everything, its very easy to forget which bookies you have money with. And when you are looking for bets concentrate on top leagues with account retention. Betting on china divison 23 to get a qualifying loss of 17p isn't a good idea, bet on a premier league game to make a loss of 50p to get your free bets.

As Gazwag said, stick to the elite European leagues for football betting and build up bank of several thousand before venturing into higher risk casino offers. I started in October 2016, made 8,000 in the first 12 months doing more or less exclusively sports offers, then moved into low risk casino and subsequently, higher risk casino. Made 28,000 last year and 7,800 so far this year. Total profit approaching 50,000.

Anyone looking to jump aboard, this is the link for a £1 trial >>> http://profitsquad.co.uk/201.html

I'm happy to try and provide some help and guidance.

I'm not doing much Matched Betting myself currently - just dipping in and out now and again - but if you have a few spare hours a week then you can earn some very easy extra money, and risk-free*.

(* It really is risk-free non-gambling.)

Hi. What are your tips to avoid being gubbed by bookies? And your recommendation for the initial sum to lodge with each chosen bookie?

My profit is currently £10,700 since Oct 16. I made a zero risk £135 from Cheltenham today with about an hours work, others with a bit more time have made over 10x that amount

Have you stuck with Profit Squad the whole time?

I've done a couple of months Weststander. I don't think you have to worry too much about being gubbed until you start making decent money and their flags come up. Much of the time, you lose your Bookie money to the exchange, so you don't get gubbed if you're losing money to them.

To start with I went with the £20 or less opening offers, worked through a couple, made a profit, then could open further accounts building a decent fund in the exchange to be able to lay against longer odds.

I did make a few rookie mistakes though. Mainly on HT/FT bets that I mislaid at the exchange because it was worded slightly differently and I laid the wrong thing. I didn't even get in to laying off accas, because that just seemed too complicated for me.

I need to get into this. I could really do with some extra cash right now.

I'm due to get paid tomorrow and am considering just paying the minimum off a credit card for the month to free up a starting pot. Would 50 quid be enough to get me going?

Are the rules that easy to follow for a non gambler like me? The thought of it makes me a bit nervous and don't want to **** it up.

Is that trial link still valid?

That's actually not true

No probably not, but in the context of a beginner, I think it would be pretty hard to get gubbed until you establish a real pattern of betting that raises some flags. Not something I think you need to worry about until you've been at it a good while - would that be fair to say?

I think I started with less, and just built up my profit slowly, starting with an exhange, my preferred was Smarkets, and 1 bookie welcome offer. Did the 1 offer, made £20, so I had £70 for my next go, so opened 2 new bookie offers this time using the same exchange, I was then £50 up, and with the initial £50, now had a £100 to play with and so forth until I was only using the winnings and at no risk to my own funds. I learned you have to be patient and build slowly. Although I have got a bit bored now...

I'm bored in the evenings now when I'm not at work since I finished my HNC as a mature student and no home work to do!

Is it best to start another email address to use exclusively with the bookies and possibly a new bank account to work with to keep everything separate from my normal finances?

I'm going to go in with tiny steps. It seems too good to be true...

I felt the same way as you before I started, but it really is lucrative. Just don't jump in and start betting until you know exactly what you are doing. I started with between £50 and £100 and you can start making a profit with that. The only issue with using small amounts is that you need more money on the exchange than at the bookie, so if your bet wins at the bookie the money will be in the wrong place. So then you have to transfer it out and wait for it to appear in your bank account again before you can carry on. Yes, I would use a different email address but I use my normal bank account and have not had any issues with the bank or anything like that.

Yes, the trial link is still valid, but just in case: CLICK HERE

The more money you start with the better, not because it enhances your chances of success - it doesn't - but it speeds up the process of getting through new customer offers as otherwise you may find yourself twiddling your thumbs waiting for money. to move between bookie accounts and a betting exchange before you can attempt more offers.

New customer offers allow you to build up a bank - as you convert each new customer offer free bet to guaranteed cash, as well as getting you familiar with the back/lay process that is the bread and butter of matched betting.

I haven’t quite got going yet, instead getting all the admin and training done first. PS recommend having a separate bank account and email address purely for matched betting, so that’s what I’ve done. The former with my existing bank; so as not to trigger ‘We won’t allow a bank account purely for gambling”, I said I was splitting personal and domestic bills stuff, so wanted two accounts”. Do the email thing before signing up with PS, as it took ten emails to their custonmer services person, to get PS emails switched to my new email address. Finally remember to allow all junk email from PS, Betfair and bookies, so that you see all offers.

It does depend, some companies, Betway for example, are very gub happy, you will be lucky to last a few weeks with them, others are similar, thankfully if you are careful Bet365 are a patient one. No matter which company you use, regular betting on some obscure Chinese league to get a better match will flag you up very quickly

I continued to use my current email address and existing bank account, used paypal a bit but not much but most important job is to keep a spreadsheet showing your ins and outs and your current balances at every bookie. It can be cumbersome but IMO essential.

It may seem a bit sad but I know where every penny currently sits, I have around £5k in bookie accounts at the moment, and I know pretty much every transaction I have made.

I don't want to sound all 'mumsy' but if you're tight on cash and have credit cards to pay off I personally wouldn't advise putting any money towards betting / gambling no matter how easy or guaranteed the results may be.

Obviously don't know you or your situation but paying off credit cards is usually rule #1 for 'spare' cash. Also, feel free to shoot the messenger, I'm well aware I'm sticking my nose in
