Anyone go today was it good post your pictures here, any Albion shirts in the parade.

Just done a wander round. Can't help but feel that the Albion could have done a float, or had a stall or something. The Police and the Ambulance Service had stalls, why not the Albion? Could have sold some tee-shirts or tried to get rid of all those old pink'n'fluffy Xmas cards of a couple of years back, or just raised the profile of the club and engaged directly with the gay community on some basic level.

No big deal, but just seems like a bit of a wasted opportunity IMHO

Totally agree with you there, I always thought DK was a marketing man, still never mind onward and upward.

Too right - and why don't The Albion have a gay stand, so that gays can all sit together and coo at the players? It could be called the 'pink end'.

Or the Sticky End.

That's beneath you NMH. And you too dougdeep.

Bit of an insult to the gay fans who currently support the Albion and whose pink pound is as important to the club as your non-pink pound.

Sorry, I've met you both and know you to be good guys, but bit of a cheap shot, wouldn't you agree?

It's not a problem. In any shape or form. IMHO mate. They're PEOPLE, they either live here or they don't, they're having a nice day out in the sun, they're having a real good time and the last thing on their minds is giving anybody any grief. It's a little corner of Ibiza in BN1 IMHO. Could happen in few other places in the UK. It's all good.

Dunno. I think Pride is GREAT

Here's hopin' those nice boys have more of a sense of humour than to see every mention of them as a 'cheap shot' then!
wouldn't you agree TH?

Manchester City have reached out to the big gay community here in Manchester, and it has had a positive response.

It does help of course having one part of the stadium named after former Maine Road legend Colin Bell

Not sure. I work next to Canal Street (and yes, the first letters of both words have been removed from the road signs), and it is a very busy part of town day and night.
