Another truly pathetic response-how the FH would you know what he thought.Sad

When I hear the his press spokesman saying that it showed that Trumps security initiative was necessary. 'We condemn this attack in the strongest possible terms. It’s a terrible reminder of why we must remain vigilant, and why the president is taking steps to be proactive, rather than reactive, when it comes to our nation’s safety and security,” Personally, I had no idea that the USA was being threatened by Canadian Right wing nutters.
He thought it was a Muslim attack. I know that, and more importantly, so do you.

Yes, the UN belief that Israel are guilty of war crimes, at a government level, justifies some countries to restrict travel for it's citizens. I'd say it's fair to be honest.

Fair enough, in that case I guess we need to draw up a list of countries guilty of human rights abuses or war crimes and institute travel bans on their citizens. I suggest we start with China and Saudi Arabia.

If it's about war crimes and human rights abuse I would expect the UK to be in the cart.

Blair and his Govt for their lies which led to an illegal war, and all the human rights abuses that occurred during that war. Which is why Jack Straw will soon be up before the beak.

The sooner British citizens are restricted from travelling the better.

Seeing as there is now a rival pro petition for Trump having a state visit I presume May will view the respective number of signatures and abide by the will of the people?

If I'm honest I'm not that fussed about a state visit. If they want to parade him about with the royals, be greeted by unwitting primary school classes singing welcome songs and down whiskey with Phillip, I couldn't really care less, just par for the pigs at the trough course. I'm more interested to see what he and May are cooking up between them.

Yeah that's definitely a fair point - though my post was more to contradict the absurd view that this part of the story was deliberately withheld by the nefarious suits running the MSM. I would venture that there are a number ill-informed protesters who think Trump picked the countries himself, though personally I wouldn't blame the MSM for that; the reporting output is there for posterity and they are on record as it were.

I'd argue that the choice of countries here isn't the egregious part of the order; it's more the sheer incompetence with which it has been 'ordered' without any prior consultation with the relevant departments, and the fact that this isn't predicated on a direct threat but a far more woolly idea of 'safety'.

A Trump advisor has just been on C4 news, she explained to John Snow that all those countries are unable to provide any intelligence on their travelling citizens, unlike other countries, including Muslim ones, such as Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

All very logical when the hysteria and hyperbole is extracted from the febrile narrative of hatred and racism.

Still pathetic. Why edit out part of an article anybody can read to try and make it prove your point. With the first sentence restored,it reads true, not as a pathetic lefty propaganda effort.2/10 Must engage brain before posting crap!

Well, thank you for enforcing my view that Trump, and his administration thought it was a Muslim attack. otherwise, what you have added, rather pointlessly, is a rather strange thing to say, especially if you didnt believe it was a Muslim attack.

If you let the enemy know in advance what you want to do, then your enemy will use that time to their advantage. By the time it goes through a 3 month process they could smuggle hundreds of Daesh in under the guise of refugees. You cannot give Daesh 3 months to get who they can in.

It may sound unfair but it is logical with the big fight against Daesh coming soon.

thats horse crap, he didnt even run it past people in his own cabinet, including those departments responsible for enforcing it. it doesnt need 3 months, 3 days or even 3 hours consultation would have been a good idea.

I will try to make this as easy as I can for you.The attack was on Monday. That news release was on Tuesday. The attacker's identity was known on the Monday. So the Trump spokesman knew it was not a muslim attack. You cut off the line showing the statement was released Tuesday to cover that up.

I have a feeling you have learnt things today that you otherwise didnt know, it makes the anti-Trump bandwagon a little more uncomfortable ?

The word Fascism has now no meaning except in so far as it signifies “something not desirable”. - George Orwell 'Politics and the English Language'

A view, but not one that I share.

I would suspect that anyone has studied 20th Century history would be aware that Mussolini defined fascism, with Hitler's Germany being a more extreme version
