Piercy was good for us, but was blighted by his illness - I would have thought Barnard would be a decent signing.

All good shouts, but would we really have a chance with any of those.
Perhaps Fowler could come down, buy up half the empty properties in Brighton and rent them out , thus expanding his little empire.
We could point him in the right direction - maybe give him an address every time he scores, sort of new slant on the pay as you play basis!
'Cos we have F**k all chance of getting any decent strikers to come to us unless they are prepared to just come to get some games in, get fir and maybe go back to wherever they come from just a little higher in the pecking order.
