I have no doubts that 6th is within our capabilities, although keep dropping points against lower teams, and we'll end-up top 10 at best.
The match tomorrow is a vital one, not to define the final position, but to stop the 'rot' that we seem to have found ourselves in.
So.....back up to fifth tomorrow, lads.
Please.

Ipswich, Forest, Wolves, Southampton, Fulham?
What about all the results that saw us going into this round of matches in 5th after everyone had played 14?

How can you be so negative about finishing top 7 when we’re right in the mix?

I think everyone has gone utterly mad on here tonight. It's like a matchday thread where everyone is banging on about how awful we are because we are dropping down the table and we haven't even played yet. Lunacy. Just a reminder that if we win tomorrow we go 5th, FIFTH in the Premier League.

Because I don't think we're playing well enough. We've had some amazing moves up front that have got us some points, but we're failing to do the basics so often that it's difficult to see us mounting a challenge over the whole season.

It’s mental how volatile everyone is based on a couple of games in a 38-game season! Talk about a loser’s attitude!

How have we managed to get to 5th then? Must be doing something right.

In 22-23 we had some really poor runs as well and dropped points against mediocre teams.

If they think we've got it bad, just stand and listen to that sound of knuckles dragging and the grinding of teeth all over Manchester tonight.

Crazy. Lewis gets his foot trodden.on.Chalobah rolls around for no reason and Lewis gets a second yellow.

Maybe Chalobah finds it painful when he stamps on people?

The argument for VAR to review second yellows is incontestable.

I wonder if this will get the same 'meh' coverage that ours got?

So who’s to say we won’t have anyone of those amazing moves.

I’m putting you on ignore by the way. I can’t tolerate your negativity. I’d rather have a pint and a chat with a Palace fan than a mood hoover like you.
