Brentford look much better against Wolves than they did against us. Against us they ran around like loons, flew into tackles and tried to make it a 100mph game. Today they look much calmer and more composed and subsequently like a much better football team.

Looking like we missed a trick not singing Toney last season

Toney would I think add a physical presence up front. Could we get him in jan , not impossible because I suspect we pay higher salary but would probably take a £35-40m bid if he could be persuaded. Unlikely.

Did he ask to join us?

I think PL Brighton might have had a little bit of a chance of signing him over Championship Brentford if we’d tried?

Unless you know better and a player has to ask to play for your team before you go after him

Brentford have been great so far this season. We got a great win although fortunately Mbuemo was poor vs us.

For them to currently be as it stands 2W - 2D and 1L is great for a promoted team. Only conceded 2 also!

Thought they were shocking vs us. One shot on target, other chances from our errors.

Daftest red card you’ll ever see that from someone already carded.

Side note, seeing away fans in the lower tier beside the pitch is very strange, not a fan.

Wolves seem to have looked at the Burnley way of playing and decided they fancy a bit of that. Constant whining, pushing the envelope with very strong tackles and stupid wrestling. Better footballing side than Burnley but thoroughly unlikeable today. Brentford being quite snide as well. Ref has done a very good job keeping control.

If Wolves finishing wasn’t absolutely shocking and Traore had any ability to not over hit a cross Wolves would be out of sight in this.

Traore is fantastic at beating players but his end product is absolutely shocking.

I didn't see the game last night, but the BBC text commentary, I think it was, described Saint-Maximin as being everything Traore should be.
