This will no doubt come back to bite me on the arse, but these two really aren't very good are they.

That will do, rather Leeds lost but that will unsettle the fans.
As long as we stay up I'm not too bothered about Newcastle but it goes to show what a really good manager Rafa Benitiz is, as we found out.

The insane hype around Bielsa really is just that, isn't it? One trick pony fraud (in terms of top class manager) imo

I agree, he has been found out.

Ok he has got the best out of his squad, but IMO they have peaked. No young talent coming through, defence is shocking

Total opposite to Potter, he is continuing improving players, bringing in youth and changing things about when needed to get a result.

Bielsa won’t be at Leeds next season because he will Chuck the towell in.
Only reason Potter won’t be with us next season is because a “ top 6 “ team will poach him

Leeds fans probably getting a bit worried. Teams that go heavy on periodisation training - like City, Brighton and Leeds - often take some time to get going though as the purpose is to get stronger and stronger throughout the season when others start to suffer from general fatigue. I think they will be fine in the end.

They have a pretty soft schedule going forward and should start picking up some points.

Newcastle... will be fighting in the bottom. Probably too many match winner type of players to go down though.

One trick pony yes - dont think he would deny it - but its decent pony.

Is this the longest run Bielsa’s Leeds have gone without a win ?

Will be interesting to see how he deals with this as a manager- something that he hasn’t had to deal with before.

A real test for the ‘greatest manger in the world’

Decent enough, but he's hardly got the records and trophies elsewhere to justify the constant media lauding of him. I find it bizarre. And his philosophy of playing one way and getting smashed regularly by the top teams/blowing the lesser teams away is surely not going to be sustainable. We'll see over the course of the season. Perhaps it will, but it's not been a great start for them. Can't say they haven't spent money, either.

Give me Potter and his tactical nous as well as the way he develops youth any day of the week.

The City job may come up soon with Pep getting a bit angsty, probably a season or two too early for GP if it does happen, but it seems both the natives and the manager are getting a bit restless up there in Manchester.

I am pretty convinced GP will be poached before he is sacked, we’ll see

It would have been pretty toxic at a full Amex with the lack of wins at home for a large number of games over the last couple of seasons imo. Who knows what would have happened

I am hoping for Schmeicel to have a non superman game at the Amex tomorrow. He always seems to have an influential blinder against us, time for him to have a stinker like he does in other games but never against us

Three points tomorrow is probably a dream too far though

it would be mental, bit leggy after thursday? :nono:

at home against a quality counter-attacking team?

hoping for a draw, let us see what happens

(bloomy seems to be laughing to much to sack him)

Not sure about leggy, they rested a lot of influential players, I’d take a point but hope for a stunning 3-1
