When has Paynter had a real chance in front of goal except from Reading? Christ, think people need to realize that we don't really have a midfield that creates chances after chance compared to last season we had Dicker and Benno linking up well this season it's all down whether our strikers can find the time and space, it's a lot harder in this league and we're coping well, we need a bit more creativity in this team and who knows he might turn out to be a decent player.

Hilarious.

If Gus is planning/hoping to keep him then he will lose a lot of respect from me... I would feel very let down at this prospect!

Let's all just hope that talks are simply ' Bye Bye ' and perhaps the statement is just a diversion to the forward he is going to sign and who may have other clubs chasing them.

Sorry BIlly but even with a less than creative midfield I now appreciate why my Leeds supporting friend told me some time ago that your nickname was Barna Door.

2006 Hull City 13 (0)
2006 → Southend United (loan) 1 (0)
2006–2007 Southend United 8 (0)
2007 → Bradford City (loan) 15 (4)
2007–2010 Swindon Town 122 (45)
2010– Leeds United 23 (1)
2011– → Brighton & Hove Albion (loan) 9 (0)

Scored a few in the lower leagues at Port Vale and Swindon apart from that Dog Poo. Also he is only 27. I thought he was about 34.

Oh right then, not every player hits their best form in a couple of months at a new club...

Jesus Christ.
Billy Paynter has never, EVER been a good player.
Took my old man along to the Reading game and he thought Paynter was some 35 year old washed up carthorse at the end of his career.
He certainly plays that way.

I'd love it if Paynter scored a load just to shut you lot up, talk about getting on your own players back.
