Potter unquestionably had a stellar last 5-6 months in the job, but I do think that is causing some to view his reign in a rose-tinted way. We were average for a lot of those 3 years. He nearly got us relegated and got saved by COVID in his first season. And I maintain that if he’d presided over 1 home win in a calendar year at a time when fans could be in the ground, the atmosphere would have been toxic. This is what I’m not quite getting with some, not so much on here, but on other platforms, that want Potter over FH. I see a lot of Potter in FH, but with plenty still to go, despite the plaudits for all the signings this year, I don’t think we have a particularly better squad than under GP
