Ooooh i think i know the answer to the question
How long will you keep going on about it? It's been two and a half years already. Get over it, and move on, most of us have.
You snow it makes sense. What should we discuss on a Potter thread then Snow?
Plenty of others crying he’s not our manager on this thread and he’s definitely not our managerThe thread is "What's he up to", not what he did.
Of course they could be average-to-poor managers who were rightly sacked and have just got temporarily lucky ...Because they're contractors... in a very important role.
Really, they should be on short-term contracts - but if a club offers a long, lucrative deal, you're going to take it.
Getting sacked doesn't make you a bad manager.
Nuno Espírito Santo, sacked by Wolves, Spurs and others, is currently third in the Premier League with Forest.
Eddie Howe, once dismissed by Burnley, is fifth with Newcastle.
Ex-Arsenal manager Unai Emery went on to win shedloads of trophies with Villareal and has taken Aston Villa to the Champions League.
etc etc
No any manager that digs out the club he works for fans is a knob in my book.Would you admit that GP’s done a good job if he take them to Europe, say in a year or two? Or would it be some other circumstances that made them do it?
Probably best to just go and support West Ham eh.Nah mate. I heard a stat on Saturday. In 2023 (10 months of which was Potter) we scored 46 home league goals. In 2024 which was half RDZ and half FH we scored 21. We were absolutely flying when he left us.
This is likely to have better bounce potential than the Brighton i360 thread. It's going to be a great appointment for them.

No.Sadly not. One of the best Albion managers of all time, that Chelsea absolutely f***ed over.
Will do a tediously great job at WHU, then move onto bigger things.
Just let this thread die and forget about what could have been.
I endorse this message.No.
The way that West Ham treat their managers, even the ones like Moyes that bring European football and trophies, it's inevitably going to end in tears.
History will repeat itself. No lessons required.
Your feelings mirror mine. I went to Brentford away when we lost 2-0. I was probably still in shock over Potter’s departure. I was looking at RDZ going mental, getting booked and I thought ‘Oh f***ing hell’ what have we let ourselves in for. As you rightly pointed out, from January to May 2023 the most exciting, unbelievable football from the Albion - ever! So many fantastic memories to treasure and so short lived.Humongously f***ed off when Potter jumped ship just six games into a new season. But that opened the door to the most gifted, unhinged coach we’re ever likely to have and some of the best football this club might ever play. Never go back.
What? West Ham’s 19th manager in 124 years.Away at Villa in the cup first game out… bet he’s ’in the stands’ for that fucker
He’s joined a club that won’t give him the time he needs, again. I mean Graham have you seen what they’ve just done ? Or have your new owners promised to take you out for walkies and pat you on the head everyday … lol
I wish him well.
No, no I just can’t do it, I hope it goes (like it will) pretty averagely and then he gets sacked midway through his contract for not delivering top 8 and a trophy or two whilst playing sublime West Ham way football.
Time to start practicing BOOING loudly again
Absolutely.No.

Averaged 44 points with us. Had midfield of caicedo, bissouma and macillister.Sadly not. One of the best Albion managers of all time, that Chelsea absolutely f***ed over.
