Mostly, a few bald patches near the goal mouths.

No...seemed pointless to cover it "after the horse had bolted" so to speak....all you would do is keep the frost in.

I think the problem lies in the south side of the pitch which gets no sun....and the stands. But if it's going to be 7 or 8 degrees tomorrow, it might be ok.

I'm sure the trusty groundsmen are doing what they can and i'll let you know if i hear anything in the meantime.

Oh...don't forget that Crawley's game was called off on sunday due to a frozen pitch too

Hope the weather stays fine and not like it is up here in the northern wastelands atm , -6C overnight with the temperature hovering around 3C during the day. Dense fog patches have made it colder and there has been deep frosts for the last 4 nights.

Global warming has moved so far south, that there is actual sunshine in the Brighton area today, and the Withdean skating park will actually have grass growing over it, to the point that people will be able to play football!
