Darlington v Chester - postponed (frozen pitch)

But people on here are always speculating about games.

I remember people thought the Crewe game was gonna be called off!

It's hardly arctic conditions out there is it?!

Wasn't for the Gillingham game either, and they still managed to call that one off while we were all sat in the Brewery Tap less than 2 hours before kick-off. And we were the lucky ones. Easiest thing in the world to postpone a game at short notice. But it costs real people real money. Today's the kind of stupid day when it could just get very cold very quickly.

thought our pitch was excellant though and was even playable v pikeys. It was the safety of the stands which was the reason ?

Surely thats not an issue today

Why not? Can't believe the club do anything differently with the stands than they did for the postponed match.

It was a shite sight colder for the Gillingham game!

Problem is, the club aren't going to announce 'game on' after the cock up last time with the early pitch inspection.
