With the icy nights and cold days we are currently experiencing here in Brighton, could there be a repeat performance of the Gillingham frozen pitch scenario for our game with Cheltenham tomorrow?

Get some NSC hot air on the pitch, that will sort it.

No news from Matt Hicks as yet. Should be alright but if I hear anything to the contrary I'll let NSC know.

With the attendances as low as they are, the club needs to reassure people that the game will definitely go ahead (or otherwise) as early as possible.

The game won't be called off, I very much doubt it anyway.

Tomorrow won't be as cold as if was when we were supposed to play Gillingham.
That day the temperatures were near freezing all day long, and then pretty much below freezing as soon as it became dark.

It's nowhere near as cold as that at the moment.

Lows of -3 last night, very cold!

Lows of -1 tonight, cold but not as cold.

Highs of 9 or 10 degrees tomorrow should see the pitch thaw out ok. Especially when you consider that tomorrow night will be much milder, with lows of 8 degrees.

Should be fine I think

the problem with the Gillingham game was that the running track and steps in the South stand kept freezing over, making it unsafe for fans, and im sure it was called off on that basis as most of the pitch was fine, and would have been fine if it was played on.

With that in mind, a message to the club...

I don't mind falling arse over tit a few times, if it means we can actually get to see some football tomorrow!!

I'm sure everyone will agree, we don't want this match rearranged again!
