Well I guess it shows our lads what standard they need to reach as a team to compete at the top. Hopefully Potter will get a bit of time with Pep to pick his brains.

They were a couple of levels above us tonight unfortunately.

Disappointing that we didn’t do better but not surprised.

We got almost as good a result as runaway League champions Liverpool against them - just one goal difference........

...............and we don't have to play them again this season.

I enjoyed the game. Made some decent moves against the second best team in the world. Never gave up. Never dropped heads.

Disappointed that BHA 'supporters' on NSC are mocking our performance

A master stroke from Potter to show TB that the cheque book needs to brought out before next season to secure another striker, midfielder......

Liked the look of Burn and Bernardo working together on the left. MacAllister kept fresh. Weaknesses exaggerated - lack of speed (both mind and body) to inform recruitment plans.

Some quality and amusing ranting tonight.
Genuinely more enjoyable Than the game.
Never going to be anything other than bloody hard against Liverpool and City.

Potter will have learnt A LOT about his squad.

I'm not so sure. If he had learned, we'd have been better deploying a back 5, going full on Chris Hughton bus parking. Trashed the GD, got the expected zero points. It was naieve to try and out play them with a weakened starting 11.

The lads will know that tonight's performance was dire, and hopefully something will kick in, in their brains that a better performance is very much needed in the next match.
