5 and a half hours of driving avoided for a match devoid of any entertainment for a Brighton fan. A not insignificant amount of money also saved by it being played behind closed doors.

Terrible performance. They should all be utterly ashamed

I took a number of really positive points from the game against LIverpool. We competed hard and matched them for large parts of the game. Stupid individual errors cost us the three goals.

Then we change players and formation and played without any drive or passion. We played in a similar way to the way we played after the Wigan game in the promotion season.

I wasn't expecting us to get anything out of the game of course but I was expecting more endeavour from the team and for them to at least put in the same level of effort and energy that we saw against Liverpool.
