But it's so important to get the right preparation. We had a terrible pre-season last year, and look where that left us. Ok, we narrowly won the league, but only just. If we'd prepared for it properly then we would have done far better, in a league full of tin pot clubs with players who are no better than my sister. If we play as badly as we did last year in the Championship, we have no chance
:(

do you really believe the rubbish you are spouting?

That is excellent. Nice bit of education.

I decided to look at the origins of this phrase, more interesting than I thought it would be.

According to a Yahoo answers contributor:

Many years ago, people used to cook over an open flame using copper kettles and iron pots. The copper kettles were usually polished after every use whereas the iron pots were not and remained blackened from the soot from previous cookings.
Well someone got the idea that if the iron pot were alive and it looked at a nearby copper kettle, it would see a black image. The iron pot believes it sees the image of the copper kettle when in reality, because the copper kettle was polished, what the iron pot was seeing was a reflection of itself.
This symbolic phrase became associated with hypocrisy. An accuser blames someone else for having a fault when the accuser has the same fault.

I like it.

This. And the squad have shown they have no bottle in losing a 2 goal advantage. If we are going to be so weak-willed this year think I may just skip the last 10 minutes of matches at the Amex and leave on '80 to avoid the disappointment.

This and double This! I'm selling my season ticket. WSL Row L. Anyone want it? BLOOM OUT!

Im jus haveing my views but I am not happy about this! Poyet out, Tanno out, they clearly are Spurs sympathisers and callously threw away a 2-0 lead to save the 16 year old kids blushes! Is it a plan in disguise to get some Spurs youths on loan? I dont no cos Im jus haveing my views and haveing fun on this site

On FM I beat Spurs ressies 4-1 but did win league cup and get promoted to Prem so TB out too for recruiting the wrong manager

Andy Naylor mentioned that it was a tough night for Calde. Can anyone elaborate further?

Don't know what he's on about - I thought Calde was the most composed player on the pitch. Inspires confidence.
