I spent three years working in careers advice and recruitment in Edinburgh from 97-00, by the time I left the job pretty much the only people in the area who didn't have a job were either unable to work, had no skills whatsoever or you wouldn't want them working for you. It was clear to me then that the situation was completely unsustainable if the economy and local businesses were to grow, new employees had to come from somewhere as they weren't exactly growing on trees, I couldn't see the situation improving...you can't have your cake and eat it.

Whilst I didnt see the BBC doc about Polish workers I heard that they were filming at a job centre in the morning, the Poles all trooped in got jobs and sitting outside was a chap swigging from a can of lager bemoaning the fact the were stealing all the jobs. I think this speaks volumes about British attitudes. He was hardly in a fit state to work if he was called.

Not everyone who votes for the bnp is a racist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are a legitamate party whos manifesto makes for some very interesting reading.

Under a bnp government most working families would be over a thousand pound a year better off.

A lot of the unneccessary government spending would be reigned in no more £55,000 to decorate an office etc.

Wouldn't you like the extra money they will be able to provide?

And am i scum for working three jobs just to survive in rip off britain so i can give my little boy a good start in life?? ?? ??

And have you even read their manifesto??

Do you support any of their ideology?

I am not racist.

I think that their manifesto makes the most businees sense.

The last 11 years this country has gone so far downhill that radical action is needed to resolve the situation.

None of the main 4 labour, liberals, tories or green have the bollocks to resolve this so why not give another party a chance to?

I believe that if Griffin (who in my opinion is an abhorrent racist twat) was booted out the party but the policies stayed then the bnp would double their share of votes

The manifesto and improvements to the country HELL YES

your answer to my question about whether or not you supported any of their ideology is quoted above.

To me the capitalised 'yes' at the end is very clear.

I aksed you if you supported ANY of their ideology. You have clearly answered yes.

That's up there with the biggest load of old tripe I've ever had the misfortune to read on here.

What would happen is the exact opposite. Griffin has been clever in making the party seem somewhat electable (and had very limited success).

Where they stuff them themselves in a public relations sense is when any other of their members get near a media outlet.

I'm sure you listened to the recent radio interviews regarding the BNPs unauthorised use of a picture of a girl who died of a heroin overdose. You know the case, the ones where the parents allowed her image to be used to educate people on drug abuse.

( They were blaming her death on immigration by the way )

Her mother was asking them to reconsider, but the representative turned the whole interview into a really, really nasty attack on her. It ceased to become a race issue and left me astounded at his lack of compassion, media savvy - whatever you want to call it.

According to reports they also tend to spend as much time arguing with each other (let alone other political parties). You should have read the comments from other members about the fact a half Turkish man is trying to get elected to the GLA on a BNP ticket.

OF COURSE the manisfesto reads like something sensible, why wouldn't it ?

But of course this is irrelevant. I spoken to a couple of BNP sympathisers in my time and they havent got a clue in hell what the manisfesto says and frankly don't care. I suspect most supporters don't either.

Have they still got the policy where single mothers are paid a wage by the government to stay at home ? My - that'll go down well with the electorate...

What about the one where everyone has to right to bear arms - Another election winner !!

You know what it wasn't that long ago there were supporting the Palestinians in their fight against Israel. Drop that one sharpish didn't they .. sorry mate, whatever makes sense in there to you, the reality of it is they are laughable.

Have you even read it?

Most of it is about the economics and values

No read it. Not even seen the picture book. I'm sure most of it IS about economics and values. As written by a bloke with a sub-normal IQ who sees his stunted feral target voters' unemployments benefits being squeezed by people who actually don't mind putting in a day's graft for a day's pay.

Does ANYONE think that a racist is going to stand up and say "vote for my party, we are racists"?

No, what they are going to actually do is dangle a lovely vote-able manifesto and say ALL the things the public want to hear. They are going to listen to what the public regularly moan about, look at what the public generally don't like about the incumbent party, and regardless of how possible or tenable it may be they will play to the public ires and des-ires.

Isn't that what YOU would do, if you represented a generally undesirable minority?? ???

Still, some people will run after the piper, as long as he plays a tune they like.

Strike up the band then, the rats have ears to hear the nice tunes.

give up readingstockport another flimsy answer

You are a dick aren't you? If you are the best the right can put up then we're going to have a socialist paradise in this country within a few weeks ffs.

He said I said something about him, I checked back and hadn't. I called you a racist not him. Him I called right wing.

Are you telling me he denies being right wing?

I think that their manifesto makes the most businees sense.

It has all the business sense of a 12 year old playing Sim City 2000 - who's about to get a major shock as the ecomonics engine in Sim City 4 is better designed.

There's nothing at all in it that will work in an actual globalised economy. Its childish fantasy - just like the rest of their aims.

The same case I think where the young ladies body was due to be exhumed because nobody had actually completed the correct tests to see if she had died of an actual overdose or quite possibly been murdered some other way.

Getting back on topic though do any of the BNP haters ever turn up at any of their rallys to argue their points. It seems that certain folk are vehement in their critisism on messageboards but would not actually go out on a limb against them in person.
I must confess at this point that I am not a BNP sympaphiser.

That's only your opinion

Guess we will never find out as they will never be elected

Attila, we're being called (you more than me without a doubt I confess).

John, do you remember that gig in Reading where you did Andy is a Corporatist to Mr Frain and his friends?

The only time I've seen you do it live and the fash crept out very VERY quietly with their tails between their legs to celebrate frains birthday somewhere else.

More than one on here have been there and done it.

On both sides as it happens.
