I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Jake Robinson. He scored a lot of goals this season in Div 3, has just been released and I think could do it at a much higher level. I've heard he's the "Division Two Lua Lua" so would fit in well. Anyone else know anything about him?

I know that he was shit in League 1 for us and that's why we got rid of him!!! There isn't much chance of him doing well in League 1 let alone the Championship.

I think you'll find the term is closed season, it derives from the hunting term for the period in which hunting is banned in order to protect animals/ fish during their breeding season.

Close season, like "early doors" is a term used& made popular by lazy sports reporters and nobhead analysts (Ron Atkinson)
