Not mysterious. He has twice been the subject of a last minute panic purchase, by us and palace. He has a better agent than he is footballer, and has now inflated his wages beyond where anyone can afford him (see Huddersfield loan).

Not sure he qualifies as a panic buy for Palace. They bought him pretty much when he came on loan from us. Can it really be a panic buy if you know you're signing him for 5 months?

I'd chuckle if Dobbie ended up back here and if it was simply the case that he didn't get on with Gus then who knows?

I like the idea of selling Dobbie for £800k to the Nigels and then have him back here for free.

Since without Dobbie we'd have missed out on the playoffs, I think we've had excellent value from him!

Sorry but not true. 2 goals in lots of games. A few assists. Played in your worst run of season by mile. Put another standard player in the games he'd played and there's no way they wouldn't have done something. Sorry, cheap point scoring as it may be there's no way he played much of a hand in getting u up...

Yeh course I was aware of that. But u didn't win in 12 & had an awful run while he was playing. Ur opinion is just to make u feel better Now Calvin Andrew on the other hand....
