Brezovan- 8.5 MOM- Solid. Commanded his box well. Kicking could have been better.
Calderon- 7- Good going forward, and solid at times but caught out of position a lot.
Elphick- 8- Strong, powerful. Kept the two forwards quiet the whole game.
El-Abd-7- Did well covering, but hoofed it out or upfield far too often.
Painter-7- Did fairly well defensively but needs to learn to push on.
Bennett-5- Poor from set-pieces, barely skinned anyone (maybe due to the poor pitch). Far too weak at times.
Crofts- 7- Did as much as he could driving the midfield forward.
Navarro-6- Misplaced passes all over the place. Looked strong in the middle but can't get forward
Dicker-6- Again, pushed on well with Crofts but didn't have a major impact on the game
Lua-Lua-6- Made a few decent runs but didnt create enough.
Murray-3- Embarrassing dives, missed opportunities, stupid booking.

Holroyd-6- Ran a lot and held the ball up well but didn't make much of an impact.

Ref-3- Petty decisions and far too quick to get the book out.
Colchester- 0- Embarrassing club. Shit ground, shit fans, shit players, shit style of play, shit pitch and shit performance.

i thought bennett was pretty dreadful, apart from his set peices, which were quality. Dicker had a good first half, poor second. Crofts was quiet. Lua Lua didn't really get into the game much. Back 5 were solid. Murray was pony. Holroyd look decent when he came on. Navarro was great.

Whata crap set of points did you watch the game either on the box or at the game.

Murray 3 What a jokler you are.

I suppose that it is summed up by your user name as to your appreciation of football.

Bennett 5 Poor set pieces!!!, you must be joking, we should have scored from most of them.Ok he might have not beaten his man too often, but the set pieces were good as confirmed by the commentators on sky.

Murray was bundled off of the ball every time he got any where near it as Colchester were intent on brute force and ignorance.

Totally agree.

prob should have had at least one penalty too. Think he would have done had he not kept getting bundled over. colchester obviously went with a game plan to kick him and did just that.

Key questions that need answering:

1)Why only one turnstile open at the ground, only allowing 17 home fans (best attendance for three matches) in?

2)Are Colchester really in Division 1?

3)Why is the tide always out when they are in TV?

4)Eddie Boothroyd. Ungracious Yorkshoire w****r!

5)I can see why they are called the Ewes. As in Ewes are sh!te!

Albion, the only team trying to entertain and play football.

Next season will be splendid!

The curry was good and I had London pride thanks.

That huge black guy at the back was all over him at times but Murray just had no courage and ducked out of so many challenged. Really disappointed Forster didn't get a run out.
Oh, good times

Brezovan - 7 - commanded well, did not have enough saves to make to get any higher than a 7
Calderon - 7.5 - good game, solid in defence, good going forward
Elphick - 7.5 - did well against physical forwards
El-Abd - 6.5 - could of scored, but you dont expect him too, solid
Painter - 6 - not his best tonight
Bennett - 7 - good set-pieces, but no one turned them to goals
Crofts - 6.5 - did ok
Navarro 6 - gave possession away too often
Dicker - 7 - very good first half, faded in the 2nd
Lua-Lua - 6.5 - did not get the balls he wanted
Murray - 2 - yet again he prooves he is not worth 300k, he ducked when a cross came in.. would be a 1 but he came close with a header and he did a dummy, but that somes him up, a dummy.

Holroyd - not much impact

Thought Murray worked hard again today and adds alot defensively as well when we are defending set pieces, however, I do think he looks less of a goal threat in this 4-5-1 system.

Thought all of the team played their part tonight, all worked hard going forward and defensively and we were the better team. No complaints with anyone, but must say that I thought Elphick was my MOM.
