Murray at least looks as though he is interested lately, Dickinson even got shouted at a few times in the warm up for poor touches/passes, just looks very disinterested and lazy.

A Striker is there to get goals.

Dickinson scored 2 goals = good job. Who cares if they're tap in's. There is alot to make that happen and a big part of that is being in the right place at the right time.

Some of you really really need to understand the BASICS of football. Dickinson is averaging 1 goal in 3 games which is a mark of a GOOD striker.

Most of Fred Binney's were tap ins, I wish we had a player like him now. (44 goals in 85 games)

absolutely ridiculous ratings. We f***ing won!!!! Against a potential banana skin team. I know most people think we're amazing and should be winning every game 10-0 but can't you just be satisfied with a win for once? I think we played to our strengths in the 2nd half and got the job done.

Yes we won but there was little quality in our play. Forster and Dicker were the only ones who showed how it should be done. Even if Gus has a full season with the current squad I cannot see it delivering play offs or promotion in the next 2 seasons. Some sorting out needs to be done.

In a cup game the result is all that matters. When lower league teams beat those from higher divisions it doesn't mean the higher league team is worse - it is about luck and how one team raises their game on the day. All we need to worry about from this game is that we are in the hat for the next round.

The league - different matter, it is about quality week in week out and that is where we need to turn it around. Starting by having our injured players back will help. FDM in goal McNulty playing regularly

Smith 4 - is there any point playing him? He never actually saves the ball.

Hoyte 3 - utter rubbish and his play-acting at the end was a disgrace.
Virgo 2 - has become a truly terrible player with an ego the size of China. Shameful performance.
Elphick 4 - needs to hoof the ball more.
El-Abd 5 - best of a bad bunch. Dear me, what a state we must be in at the back.

Bennett 5 - has been awesome this season so is due a bad patch and is going through it now. Will hopefully get back to form soon.
Navarro 2 - makes Steve Thomson look like Steven Gerrard.
Crofts 4 - crap.
Mcleod 5 - some good passes but his fitness is shocking.

Forster 5 - not as good as usual and missed a couple of sitters.
Dickinson 2 - a mark for each goal. A truly horrible player to watch and I really hope we sell him in the transfer window. He has the ball control and first touch of a drunken bull, falls over ALL THE f***ing TIME, cannot head a ball despite being 6ft 4in and is as lazy as sin. But hey he scored two tap ins against Rushen and Diamonds so obviously he is a football genius.

Subs:

Dicker 7 - only player on the field who looked League One class.

Hart 6 - decent enough, typical committed Harty. Club legend and a reminder of better times.....

Dickinson -4. I don't care if he scored 2 goals, his constant falling over, holding his face, his feet, his knees, any part of body he can think of drives me mad. He has so many good assets - good touch/control, very tall, reasonably mobile and a decent shot, and yet put it all together and he
is pretty useless. Just get on with it and play and he could be quite good.
.

Finally someone with a brain!! Although can't agree with you about his first touch, its hideous.

Because if we played like that against any team in our division (and I mean anyone) we'd get between 4-0 or 5-0. You do realise they are two divisions below us don't you?!?!?!?

Smith - 3 - No command, poor positioning and very slow getting down for the first
Hoyte - 4 - Clumsy
Virgo - 4 - Off the pace, hoof reliant
Elphick - 5 - Better than Virgo but too often out of position
El abd - 5 - A couple of good challenges but shown up too often
McLeod - 3 - Was he playing?
Bennett - 5 - Fails to show the talant we all know he has, too quiet
Crofts - 5 - Not up to best either
Navarro - 4 - Out classed, out paced, out there!
Dickinson - 7 - Improving best of a very bad bunch (MoM)
Forster - 5 - Too slow and poor first touch

Hart - 4 - Great player, wonderful servant, one season too many?
Dicker - 6 - Why didn't he start?

Smith 4 - Just not cut out for it. Kicked the ball off the pitch twice, lets the ball under his body, sorry but not good enough.

Hoyte 5 - Poor game, didn't seem to be concentrating at times and kept cutting inside needlessly when he should've been marking his man.

Virgo 4 - Just hoofs everything, should've been fighting for his place but looked worse than ever.

Elphick 4 - Really lost any kind of composure he had towards the end of the game, giving the ball away at will and clearing it to the opposition or into the stands when there was no pressure on him.

El Abd 6 - Not a dreadful game by his standards, gave away a needless foul on the edge of our box though.

McLeod 6 - A couple of delightful balls over to Forster, would prefer if he got into more dangerous areas more often, fitness still letting him down a little.

Navarro 4 - Was he on the pitch? Game completely passed him by, not even half the player Dicker is.

Crofts 5 - Worked hard and put himself about but not enough end product, will be disappointed with his performance.

Bennett 6 - Not great by his standards but linked up well a couple of times with Forster. Seems to have caught Cox's disease of being unable to beat the first man with a dead ball.

Forster 6 - Worked hard and you had to feel for him playing alongside a thicket with no spacial awareness whatsoever. Laid into Dickinson a couple of times for being lazy and useless.

Dickinson 2 - That's 1 each for each tap in to an empty net. I don't know if I've seen a worse performance from a player ever. He has the first touch of a drunken elephant, no awareness of his team mates at all, lazy, clumsy, dives and just generally lumbers/staggers around for 90 minutes. Everyone around me was falling about laughing when he scored our third.

SUBS

Dicker 7.5 - THAT is a central midfielder. Composed, classy, NEVER gave the ball away, made things happen, fantastic movement to make space for himself. Has to start every game when fit.

Hart 7 - Worked his nuts off, chased every ball, got a bit too heated at points, also completely laid into Dickinson for being lazy.

Nice to see we finally agree on something, dickheadson is shithouse

two tap ins? Well, that's the first time I've seen a tap in from outside the area and another from 10 yards into the top corner.

You're probably correct. They were not exactly tap-ins.

He actually won four or five balls in the air yesterday (first time I've seen him do that), but the fact that he can only do it against a Conference team highlights what a very poor player he is.

Right here, right now
Maybe Smith should have done better for the goals but I think he was taken by surprise by how easily the players went through the defence in front of him. FFS If you have two defenders on an attacker you don't expect the ball to come flying towards you! Other than the goals I thought he looked fairly solid and his distribution was mostly pretty good. Can be excused for kicking a couple out when the wind and rain are swirling around and the ball/pitch is soaked.

I cannot believe the mindless sheep that come on here and continue to coat off Dickinson! He scored two goals for us yesterday and generally done alright.FFS give the guy a break!
This is probably a safety in numbers exercise because 2 or 3 people around you at Withdean continue to give him a good coating so you join in.f***ing grow up or f*** off and support Chelsea or Pompey.

Smith - 5 - he at least saved a few shots, suspect for goal though
Hoyte - 3 - rubbish, other than his cheating attempts. Send him back
virgo - 3 - shit
Elphick - 5 - dreadful first half, better in the second
El-abd - 4 - all over the shop, but clearly not a left back
Crofts - 6 - solid enough, nothing special
Navarro - 6 - ditto Crofts, but the two of them a bit too negative given the opposition
Bennett 4 - anonymous
McLeod - 5 - when he did things he looked alright, but didn't get in the game
Dickinson - 7 - can't argue with two well taken goals really
Forster - 4 - two dives, nothing else, typical forster, a cheat

hart - 5 - didn't do much at all
Dicker - 6 - two good passes makes nsc cream themselves as per usual, didn't really do anything other than that.
