He is one of the most laziest players, he should take a leaf out of murrays book and actually start trying.

Yes he scored two and yes i am positive in the fact he was in the position he was in for both goals but apart from that he was so lazy.

Elphick, Virgo and Hoyte, Mcleod were all absolutely crap

Bennett didnt even get a sniff, i cannot believe he got mom.

The only 2 players i think that deserve credit were, Crofts (1st half performance) and Dicker for his 10/15 minutes of passing the ball on the floor game.

I was also a liitle upset that a game to mark Gary Hart's 400th appearance was so dire, and also had a very mooted response when he came on.

Well done though OGH!!!

Based on today's performance we play at a standard equal to Blue Square Premier, no better. Depressing.

Smith 4. Does not instill confidence in the team.

Hoyt 4. First time I've seen him. Poor.

Elphick 4. Far too much aimless hoofing and poor defensive headers.

Virgo 5. Better than Elphick, but ...

ElAbd 6. Best of the back four.

Bennett 6. Did one or two decent things, but did not see enough of the ball.

Crofts 7. Good first half, poor second.

Navarro 5. Now we know why we told Slade not to play those two together.

McLeod 4. Given a chance. Didn't take it.

Dickinson 6. Actually won some balls in the air ... amazing! Generally average.

Forster 6. Has played much better.

McLard - 4 - One of R&Ds most attacking force with his back passes. Given a chance by gus, decided not to take it
Bennett - 6 Thought his running and energy 2nd half was a major plus in a miserable afternoon
Crofts - 6 Did the ugly things well and went unoticed.
Navarro - 3 He adds nothing
Dickinson - 7 - Tried, tried & tried again but was in the right place at the right time.
Forster - 7 Set up the 1st well, scored the penalty and as ever showed for the ball all the time. Unlucky with a couple of shots

Hart - 5 - Didnt offer much today
Dicker - 8 Plays the game the right way, on the deck, quick sharp passing, out wide and noticeable that from the moment he came on we put R&D on the back foot.

Smith - 0 Astonishingly bad. A pub keeper would've fancied saving both Rushden goals. I am genuinely at a loss to understand how he can be this poor.

Hoyte - 2 Had an utter mare, got taken apart by their winger to the extent they were targeting him as a weak link. Surprising.
Virgo - 3 You'd never have guessed he was trying to re-establish himself against a non league team. Virgo you at least expect to be trying to dominate physically, but no sign that he was at all interested in that. Hoofarama as usual.
Elphick - 4 Slightly better than Virgo, defensively and in distribution. Very slightly.
El-Abd - 4 Got taken a few times but not disastrously bad.

McLeod - 0 I just wish he would go away. Utter uncommitted shit.
Navarro - 0 Another one who is a mysytery, how is he a footballer? Why is he being paid for what he just did? f*** off.
Crofts - 4 Worked hard, passed badly. Missed Dicker.
Bennett - 4 One of our better players as usual, but in a better team performance you'd have said he was disappointing. Struggled to get involved in the game and didn't deliver much when he did.

Forster - 7 Our only attacking threat, all three goals were down to him.
Dickinson - 2 I suppose he deserves some credit for the goals - though Forster served them up on a plate - he has missed sitters before. Other than that, utterly ineffective as per. Despite scoring twice, I would argue that the negative impact he has on our attacking play outweighs that.

Hart - 5 Added a bit of drive and energy but not much else.
Dicker - 7 a couple of poor passes but once again demonstrated how vital he is to any pretence we have at being a football team.

I can understand why Gus made some changes but my heart sank when I heard the team news and I was largely proved right, dreadful display with few bright spots, other than the possibility that surely now Poyet is starting to see how irredeemably awful some of our squad are.
