Done. This is a really dangerous idea that will serve no purpose. The PL teams already guilty of hoarding players to stop the competition getting them will just hoard even more - and fill BOTH their playing squads with foreign players anyway!

Done. This stupid idea that will ruin English football must be stopped and dumped for good. Please, everyone, sign up and let Dyke and his cronies know what genuine supporters, not the prawn sandwich brigade, know what they think.

Done. This is very important.
What do you see as a replacement then?...... anything?.... because 28% English players in the Prem is poor,.... half of that of home players in Germany.

Sorry but why is this a bad idea? Works well in Spain.

Cast your mind back a few years- when Brighton were struggling to stay in the football league. If this had been in force then, the club would have been faced with the prospect not of competitive conference or league two football but with playing against the likes of Aston Villa's reserves in front of a few hundred on a training ground. It might work in Spain but it would be a disaster if this ill-thought out plan were to become a reality. Anyone for Hull reserves v the Albion? No thanks!

Investing coaches and academies at all clubs. Not killing lower league football.

Signed - a short sighted approach and does not address the real issues which are coaching and academies

But the proposed rules are that the players in the B team can't be foreign?

Why are people giving him the Thumbs down, he's only asked a question. He's not trying to promote the change. We should have an honest debate about it, not all charge about with pitch forks raised.

That's because the clubs in Germany aren't fuelled to sickening levels by SKY money therefore not enabling their clubs to pick off the best and most expensive talent from around the globe resulting in them having to take a chance on home grown players.

I fail to see how a load of 18 year olds playing in div 2 will make them anymore likely to get picked in their first teams as a result of my first point. Arent most of them on loan in the league system anyway? Greg Dyke hasn't a clue.

You should work for the FA, they don't think fans are important either.

Where do the fans come into the current U21 system? This is what the B league is looking to improve.

Would you rather improve the quality of youth football here or worry about attendances for youth football?
