Even worse than a personalised plate. In my mid 20's I had a girlfriend who had a metallic blue XR3 convertible. A bit girl racer but what took the biscuit was the her name ' Amanda " emblazoned on the rear wing above the petrol cap. I tolerated it........................mainly as she had big tits!

As an aside anyone remember the landlord of The Bridge in Shoreham in the mid-80s? His name was Ron and he was a proper old-school character. He used to drive around in a white Rolls Royce with the personalised plate RON 1. He hadn't brought it of course, he'd just had it made up as he thought it would look good and be a bit of a laugh - which it was. (He only did it for show, most of the time it had its real plates on).
Slightly off topic, pre 2002 I lived in Poets Corner in Hove at the cheap end of Westbourne Street. There was a lovely man opposite that had a Rolls Royce because, I think, he had always wanted one. The only time he ever drove it was to take his dog for a walk somewhere. His dog (Yorkshire Terrier?) would jump in the back seat whilst his chauffeur then drove him to Hove Park for his daily walkies.

I used to drive Hove to Crawley for work between 1994 and 2007. There used to be a car, nice but not overtly flashy, with the plate “All RISE”. Presumably a lawyer and hopefully not a Judge. There was also a Porsche with the plate “TOO SLOW”.

I’m not going to point them out individually, but I’m a bit of a nerd on these things and some of the plates described are not possible using the letter/number combinations that exist on UK registration

I’ve got X66 🤣
X6 COX
I bought it directly from DVLA in year 2000 as a bit of advertising for my business. When I initially looked X1 COX was available but I didn't have the money to buy having just lashed out for a brand new Mercedes Vito. I sold a motorbike and 2 weeks later is was gone. I think I paid £400.00 plus VAT and it was a tax deductible expense.
I've also got P70BHA which I bought from someone on here, never put it on any of my vehicles as yet.

A long time ago I was leaving a nightclub and there was a blonde girl being photographed standing next to a very shiny Ferrari.
No. plate was 185 EXY but spaced to read 18 SEXY - and she looked as though she was both!
