correct me where i'm wrong; but eh? molecules have more PE, usually, cos atoms are bonded together to form molecules by energy.
You're probably right, I was completely guessing. I thought the energy from those nuclear and atomic bombs were simply because e=mc2 and the mass was changing. I thought if the molecule is split into atoms and the mass doesn't change, then where's the energy coming from. I must be wrong, was just guessing.

you can FU(K RIGHT OFF, you didn't know anything at all about neap tides, (so i've won this one)
It was, er, at the back of my mind, that's all guv, I was just about to say about neep tides.

Bollox, I thought this thread was about the way Brighton wins, draws but doesn't loose.

I must admit it looked that way,when i first saw the title,then again it's a good thread.

you are almost on the money. it takes energy to form atoms into molecules, so if you split them, energy is released (see Krebs cycle)
when you (not you i hope) split an atom, you are messing about with the strong and weak nuclear forces;
which can unleash far more energy than gravity and electromagnetism, cos matter is simply cold energy

shit. you sucked me in there you blighter. you enjoy this don't you!
I was making a joke of the fact I didn't know what a neap tide was, so I said I knew all about neep tides. My auto spellcheck even highlights it in red when I type it.

whoosh has got 2 H's in it so it's still 2-0 to me,
If it makes you feel better :)

This thread is almost perpetual motion; with just the occasional small puff of warm air (conveniently available by convection from an ever growing pile of fresk warm bullshit) and . . . . "we're off!" again . . . . :lolol:
