Man City just about backable now e/w @ 8/1 (2 places) for the EPL title. Liverpool will hit a sticky patch. And Arsenal will bottle it, same as they always do. And the Albion? Totally in the hands of the BHAFC sports psychologists v teams in the lower reaches of the league rocking up at the Amex
Chelsea are in with a good shout for the title imo. I think Liverpool will fall away, especially if Salah loses form or gets injured. Liverpool’s points clear position is as much of a surprise to me as us being where we are. Really don’t think that they are all that and I think we will now continue to fall away too. Oh and I am already very bored with “trusting the process”

Decent value indeed. I do think Liverpool will do enough to win it though, even if they may well hit a rough patch. 80 points may well be enough to win this season.

It’s a careful what you wished for moment. Many lambasted RDZ when he was trying to get results out of an injury hit side with no help from the board.

We are Albion things are guaranteed to go up and down. I lambasted RDZ for checking out and I don’t care what the reason was, a manager who checks out when things aren’t going his way can f*** off as far as I’m concerned, however good he may have been when things were going his way.

FH bores me, that’s all I have against him

He’s not exactly inspiring. We aren’t playing with any type of swagger. The players body language didn’t look great against Fulham.

As for the managers that have come and gone it’s all in the history books now. As it stands he has been the highest achiever. Will we get another European adventure? Who knows.

Never does against Fulham, but I agree he would not inspire me as much as the mad Italian might have done when he cared.

To be fair though, we don’t know what he’s like in the changing room, and managers motivate in different ways (see Ferguson).

Interestingly I bumped in to one of the back room team post Tottenham, who hinted at strong words at half-time, which changed things in the second half.

Plenty of managers give boring interviews, that’s what they do…..

I’m not sure who is making the decisions. We either stick to his high line and develop it and except losing a few along the way which I’m sure was the idea until Dunk shut it down.
The clubs data has possibly fallen short with managers. McKenna seems lost in this league also and he was the main target

Please please, whatever else, please don’t sack him. This is too much fun.

so, following Citys latest failure ,is this becoming more than an extended blip? I, and others have said that whilst he is a great manager of great teams performing well, we dont know if he is truly a great manager until he has to deal with a failing team, and turns it round. There seems no sign of him doing that, and surely is tarnishing his reputation.
4 points from the last 18 available is the joint second worst in the league with only Saints doing worse, and would over a season generate 25 points.

Had this been UTD, there would be huge calls from all and sundry for him to be sacked. I dont see that happening but I am enjoying this change of City fortune immensely

Not only has Pep gone a bit "teams like Brighton" but City has also become "a team like Brighton".

Fun to see. Long may it last. Welcome to our world.
